A good college for students who want to enjoy their college life and build their career.
Placements: More than 50% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the average was 8 LPA. Top companies like Amazon, Oracle, and Infosys participated in placements at my college. Roles such as electronic design engineer and systems developer were assigned by the companies.
Infrastructure: All necessary facilities are provided by the college, including equipment for lab sessions. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, accessible via laptops. The hostels are spacious, and the food is good and offered at a very affordable rate. Sports and games camps are held for interested students.
Faculty: The teachers are really qualified and knowledgeable, but all of the teachers may not be helpful until you approach them. They won't help you unless you ask them for it. The teaching quality is okay. The necessary things a student needed for working in the industry are provided in the curriculum. The semester exams are not that difficult for a dedicated student. The pass percentage for my department is more than 90%.

An amazing college in Kerala with good faculty members and facilities.
Placements: Oracle, Air India, MRF, Mahindra, etc., are some of the companies that visit for on-campus placements. The lowest package is around 3 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA. The highest package, offered by core companies, ranges from 30-40 LPA. A good percentage of students are getting internships. The placement ratio is also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with separate departments, each having good facilities. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, and the food quality is also good. Library facilities on campus are appreciable, with a main library and separate libraries in each department.
Faculty: The curriculum is quite good. Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. Faculty members are willing to provide any academic support needed. There are series exams, lab exams, vivas, assignments, and semester exams in each semester. These are very useful in making students talented and industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course to become a successful engineer. In this college, the annual techno-cultural fest named Dhyuthi takes place, which is one of the largest fests in South India. There are a lot of events that help people connect as well. Scholarships are also available for deserving candidates.

Short review on Government Engineering College, Wayanad.
Placements: The placement rate at our college is very low. Although it is improved by the placement cell, it is still not up to par. The core branch students hardly have any placements. All the placements are there for the computer science students. Even ECE students are placed as software engineers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is comparatively low. Although it's high altitude and the climate could have natural beauty, it's still hard to reach the location. No train services are available here. The food is highly recommended. The hostel is well run.
Faculty: The teachers at our institution are highly helpful. They provide study materials based on the previous year's university exam. The curriculum is updated every four years, so it keeps on updating. The semester examinations are not something that an average student can pass.
Other: I chose this course I had a great interest in electronics field. The best part of my course is that it is very relevant in this modern world. There are many events in our college. Tech fests, arts fests, sports fests, etc. are organized.

Great campus life and good for a lifetime experience.
Placements: About 70% of the students in my class got placed. The top companies like Oracle, Core al and Commscope etc. recruited students and the CTC varied from 3 lacs to 14 lacs. The placement cell did a great job all these years. Around 40% of us got internship during the course and electronics engineer roles is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course and hostel are good and convenient for students. College and hostel provide Wi-Fi facility. It is also available in department labs, and library provides more exposure to the core area. Mess and canteen food give a homely feeling, and hostel rooms are good. Also, a gym is there too. Sports and games are conducted in college.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and they are willing to clear doubts. Semester exams in college are of medium difficulty and 45% as the passing marks. Well experienced and knowledgeable teachers are there. For working in a core area, electronics related knowledge is important which can be achieved through the course. Tech fest is conducted at college level and department levels which create a big opportunity for students to get handsome salary packages.
Other: I was interested in electronics area, so the lab sessions and project are very useful in future. There are technical and cultural events conducted in the college.

The college is above average and it has good faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the students are placed in IT firms. On average, 10 students will be placed in core companies. Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the best courses that contains both hardware and software parts. About 94% of students got placed in the last year.
Infrastructure: The department building is old but a good one. College Wi-Fi is available for free. The building has a lot of greenery. The labs are good but the lab equipment is old and some is not properly working. Some are good and in the lab, the faculty members are not good; some are very rude.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and have a helping mentality. The exams were also good. The semester exams are quite easy and good. But the university is not good because they don't publish results on time. And the semester has only 3 months for studying; another 3 months are for exams. There is a lot of complaining from students about the university.
Other: There is a Tech Fest named Dyuthi and it has a lot of workshops and shows. Students around Kerala used to come and visit our college during the time of Dyuthi. And there are a lot of events that are done by different clubs to garnish our skills.
