In my opinion, my college is better for me.
Placements: My branch is computer science and engineering with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. AI systems learn and improve by analyzing large amounts of data. This 3-year undergraduate programme at Sharda University provides a foundation in computer Science and specialized training in AI and ML. Students learn how to develop AI and ML applications and algorithms and how to analyze data using statistical and machine learning techniques.
Infrastructure: This college has a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus, a resource center for visually challenged students, and a resource center in the library. One reviewer says the infrastructure is awesome, but the Wi-Fi network are not available. Another reviewer says the infrastructure is very good, but the education is not proper

Faculty: Yes, our teachers are qualified; some are IITians and NITians.
Yes, our course is better than others. Exams are mostly moderate; if you have studied, you can score better. Professors are responsible for creating their own curriculum, assignments, and exams. They also select textbooks, lecture on topics, and grade assignments.

Good infrastructure. Good faculty. Bad mess food.
Placements: Everyone is placed in the mass hiring companies. Although people prefer off-campus placements,. The highest package was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Many people study for GATE, UPSC and other exams for higher studies. Most of the students work for placement and the smart population works off campus. Internships and off-campus placements are offered.
Infrastructure: The girls hostel has Wi-Fi facilities. The food is not that good. The library has a lot of books, although you won't find a lot of books on fiction. The library has Wi-Fi facilities as well. The classrooms are spacious and not that airy. There are many grounds. There are three on-campus girl hostels and one off-campus hostel. The hostel has a mess where the food is trash. The wardens are nice and only the hostel for first-year students has a private bathroom; the other hostels have public bathrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful if you show interest in the subject. And they are not if you don't. The course is just like any other course for engineering colleges. The first year of B.Tech lessons will be the same for all the branches. The it branches would have subjects like math, chem, computer ( c ), and English with chem lab, English lab, comp lab and engineering drawing classes and the non-it branches at the same time would have math, physics, electrical, electronics, mechanical workshop, physical practical, electrical and electronics practical. And then, in the second semester, we switch the courses.
Other: I chose this course because AI is in demand and the market value is increasing manifolds.

HIT, a better place to study .
Placements: About 91% of the students were placed at Haldia Institute of Technology this year, with an average package of nearly 5 lacs. The highest package was 27 LPAs. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, and PwD visit our campus, but the college does not provide any internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college campus is about 38 acres and has a nice environment and vibe. Every department has its own classroom and well-maintained lab. The library at HIT, called Aryabhatta Library, has a variety of books. The hostel is also decent; I personally stay at the Ranichak Boys hostel, and the food quality is good.
Faculty: Teachers at Haldia Institute of Technology are well qualified, and they teach really well. They are really helpful and kind to every student. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant. The semester exams are not really difficult if you study well for the exam and nearly everyone passes.
Other: I chose B.Teach AIML because I got a 11669 rank in WBJEE. River is the main cultural festival at HIT. The campus is away from the main city of Kolkata, so there is a connectivity issue.

One of the best colleges in West Bengal .
Placements: Our course has been started 3 years earlier and the first batch is yet to pass out, the placements are expected to be similar to that of CSE core and IT branch, average package will vary from 5lpa to 7lpa and almost 90% of students are placed every year, the highest package offered was 45lpa and the lowest was 3.36lpa. College does not help much with internships but you can get one if you are skilled. TCS, Infosys, Capegemini, are leading bulk recruiters. Roles offered are that of Sides, my college is famous for high placements in chemical engineering.
Infrastructure: It has the largest campus among all the colleges under MAKAUT. Highly advanced labs, gyms facilities, large playgrounds, Wi-Fi campus, a large central library, everything is available. There is separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, 1st year boys hostel are outside college premises. Food served is good.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly M.Tech degree holders, many hold a Ph.D. degree and they are highly qualified and experienced. Every staff is helpful and cheerful, our college is autonomous and our course curriculum is relevant to make students industry ready, semester exams are not that tough and one can easily secure 8+CGPA if they are sincere towards studies, there are 2 to 3 CA's before every semester.
Other: I chose the specialisation course of artificial intelligence and machine learning because ai and ml has a huge scope in today's world. There are many events organised in our colleges regularly, there are many students' societies and students' clubs and all sort of sports are played. Prayukti and Riveria are technical and cultural fest respectively organised every year. One can easily reach Haldia via local from howrah or through bus

Placements: Placements are average. Getting placed in the core branch is very difficult. If you want to get placements, then you have to push your boundaries.
Infrastructure: A library is available. The infrastructure is also better. The food quality is average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. Students should approach them first. If you do not take help or engage in any sort of discussion, then they are ready to help you in all aspects before exams. The syllabus is relevant for placements and GATE exam.
Other: Extracurricular activities are conducted at this college. Fests are also held within 6 months.
