Review of HIT - Haldia Institute of Technology.
Placements: More than 80% of the students get placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and other start-up companies. The highest salary package offered id 24 LPA to a student gone through off campus. There are high rates of in house internship, i.e., by gaining the knowledge of the work and how to do it by a training organised by the college.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge infrastructure with wide landscapes. There is a lot of fresh air to breathe inside the college campus, which itself contains 7-8 hostels, including the girls and boys hostel. There are 2-3 blocks of building as the teachers quarter with a separate building for a library. Garden and restaurant are available. The canteen serves great food, and juices are also available here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified. Some teachers made it to receive national-level awards with their breakthrough experiments and inventions. The course curriculum is relevant as it is from the last so many years. However, it is changing with the addition of ML, cybersecurity and AI under computer science stream, which is supposed to take effect soon.
Other: Our college is good value for money, and it also depends on your own level of satisfaction.

Good College Good Infrastructure.
Placements: Placements were good for our seniors batch. Infosys and Wipro came to the campus and recruited more than 250 students and many students grabbed TCS jobs packages worth Rs 7 Lacs off-campus and Tech Mahindra Will also come for recruitment after the holidays.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very large. it has 1 juice shop, 3 Cafe, 1 Restaurants and many grounds and basketball court football ground. The food in the canteen is awesome. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped some have AC's and Projectors some have not. Hostel Rooms are decent it depends on which hostel you get the accommodation some are good and some are quite.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. It depends on you whether you keep in touch and interaction with the teachers or not if you keep on interacting with them they will help you in a lot of things. My C Teacher was very helpful and he tries to guide us to other things like IOT and various things.
Other: Our Tech Fest is 'Prayukti' and a big Cultural Fest 'Rivera' and there will be Cultural Meet and many events organized by the student's chapters and the HITian inside.
