IISER TVM Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college as well, which helps students to get jobs. However, most of the students in IISER, after five years of BS-MS, pursue Ph.D. abroad. Almost 75-85% of the students get Ph.D. opportunities outside India every year. ISRO and DRDO also recruit students for junior scientist jobs from here after BS-MS. Most of the students got internships at IITs, IISc, TIFR, IISERs, and some students at foreign universities as well, like Harvard, Stanford, Max Planck, etc.

Placements: In my batch ( BSMS batch 21) there were around 230 students. Mainly the curriculum is interdisciplinary. During the first two years of the course foundation courses are taken for the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and mathematics. More than 80% of students from my batch got internship during this summer in different IISERs and in different prestigious institutions in India .

Placements: The Integrated BSMS course that IISER is providing is a 5 year course. In this 5 years, 2 years is for foundation course where we learn Maths Biology Chemistry Physics IDC and humanities as core subjects. After 2 years of foundation we can choose our major where there is fixed amount of seats for each subject. Placements: Many seniors were offered positions in reputed laboratories across the world. Placement cell help students to get a job in the industry or start-up fields.

Placements: Most of the students from IISER TVM opt to do a Ph.D. The stipend for a Ph.D. varies from 800 to 2000 euros. They apply in the US and Europe for a Ph.D. position. There are very few students who go to industry after BSMS. There is a new placement cell here that is trying to help students get jobs.

Placements: There will not be campus placement to any company from the campus. Students who complete their masters degree generally go for Ph.D. The certificate has great value internationally so it will be easy to get Ph.D. abroad (it also depends on academic performance). .

Placements: The courses offered in IISER TVM are research oriented and hence not fit for recruitment by IT/professional companies. Hence the institute doesn't have a proper placement cell. But the students here are extremely qualified for working in Research and development laboratories and for pursuing higher studies in Science subjects. Hence most students choose higher studies options like Ph.D. after graduation, instead of jobs.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements. Students opt for higher studies or MBA or for working in a lab, and they probably have to apply separately. There is a placement cell. Some students got recruited in research organisations like Hindustan Unilever, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Asian Paints, etc. A top role offered in our course is a scientist. Almost 70-80% of the students get an internship.

Placements: There are no placements as such. Most of the students apply for Ph.D. programs after completion. A job recruitment cell has just been started now, but there are no guaranteed placements. The fifth and final year of the course is exclusively for the completion of a major project. After that, you can apply for Ph.D. programs.

Placements: In 2020, I guess no one is placed yet I don't know about the package offered in my course. It's never discussed with us. I don't think any company come to our institute for recruiting Internships are easy to get almost every year 97% of students do internship Top role- PhD .

Placements: Since it is a research institute, there are no placements. Most of the students apply for PhDs in India and abroad. Many students have got a PhD in institutions like MIT, Cambridge, IISC etc. About 60% of students went for PhD in some institutes. The rest 40% go for jobs in ISRO and DRDO.

Placements: It is a research institute. Hence students don't usually go for placements. Around 10% of the students go for placements. Internships are given to most of the students. The top salary package offered is around 50 LPA. Students go for PhDs in foreign universities mostly.

Placements: IISER TVM offers not only a professional degree but also a research degree. Here you will get placed in research positions in top-class universities around the world. The campus does not have any placement committee/office. Students only have to explore on their own and apply for programs in universities or directly for open positions with faculty members whose research work they like.

Placements: Since we are from a research institute, there are no campus placements. Some of our students in physics and maths join the industry. However, most of them pursue PhDs from universities within and outside India. Placements: Most of the placements offered in IISERs are in the form of Ph.D. offers students get from foreign universities. Almost 70% of the alumni of the Department of Physics are placed in foreign universities like MIT, Max Planck Institute, Caltech and Ivy League.

Placements: A few students got placed in the research and development department. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NTPC, ONGC, Bharat Petroleum, etc.
