I am dissatisfied due to administrative rules but satisfied with teachers and infrastructure.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed through campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 7 LPA. It can be verified with the placement report. IOCL, BPCL, ISRO, Deloitte, Tata steel are some of the top companies. Mostly sales roles in PSUs are offered to students. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the average salary package offer...

A campus with good infrastructure and a satisfying faculty, but yet much more to be done.

Placements: Placements in our college are often good. Usually, CS students get good salary packages of range 10-35 LPA. Other core branch students get average salary packages of 7-12 LPA. None of the ECE batches has passed out yet as it's been only three years since the ECE batch has started in our college.

I am happy with the college, and I have a lot of memories in college.

Placements: We are the first batch going to pass out from the college. However, there were good placements for all the other branches in the college. reputed software companies like Amazon, Direct, Goldman Sachs, visit the college to hire students. There is a placement cell in the college which works efficiently to maintain the contacts with the reputed companies and invite them for placements. Regarding interns, except CSE, most of the students from other branches try from outside the college, and the coll...

Faculty and the course curriculum are really good.

Placements: According to my survey, many students have received PPOs this year. One of the students on our floor has received a salary package of 21 LPA in September itself. Some PPOs were from foreign companies. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, bagged by a girl in this boys dominant IIT society. The average package offered to students of all branches is about 10 LPA.

Happy with the campus, satisfied with faculty, placements, culture. Food is not that good.

Placements: Actually the placements for the first 5 years of IIT Bhubaneswar was not that good. But as per last two year analysis the placements are quite good. This year the package is 39 Lacs for a girl from Adobe. This is the highest package till now for IIT Bhubaneswar. Before this the highest package is 38 Lacs offered to boy in 2016. And companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Tata Motors have offered our campus UG's. Almost 75% of our 2nd UG's are going to internship. There is also placement cell,...

Many big companies are coming to our college. And manyare getting internships. We also have a placement cell which is very helpful to us.

The campus is sprawling with greenery. The teachers may not seem up to mark until you concentrate.

Placements: As of my branch, placements are very good. Only two batches passed out the campus and two years had 100% placements with very first year's average package being around 15 Lacs per annum. The last year's highest package was 38 Lacs, and this year, it was almost the same, but as placements period is still going on, we can expect more.

Good college regarding placements, but with low campus crowd.

Placements: The placements in our college are good but not as good as old IITs. CSE branch got 100% placements. The highest package is 39 crores offered by Adobe. Goldman Sachs offered 31.5 crores for 4 students, 3 from the CSE branch and one from the mechanical branch. The least package is 6 crores for CSE. The civil students did not get good placements. This time, till now only 16 out of 29 are placed.

Not good placements. Good facilities but lack of freedom for students

Placements: Not up to the expectations. 60% students were placed. The highest package was 10 lacs and the lowest was 5 lacs. Placements for M.Tech people were too bad but are better nowadays in my college. It is a new college, that is why it faces poor placements. Many students got the internship from college.

Just satisfied with the faculty, better than average placements in 2017, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for the senior batch were really great for 2016 batch. More than 90% of the students got placed because of the coming of many PSUs like Coal India, Vedanta, etc. But when coming to placements of 2017 batch, the situation was not as good as in 2016. CSE students all got placed but other branches had a hard time getting placed. Maximum package offered was 38 lakhs by Works Applications. Everyone got internships since it is compulsory to do an internship. The maximum stipend may be aroun...

College is in growing stage, though achieved a lot in past two to three years. If you want to achieve something within the college, then it's not so difficult as compared to older IITs. The faculty are good and some are very good. Though, infrastructure is not so appealing, as still the construction is going on, but whatever is built, that is excellent enough to not have any complaints.

Good experience, platform and opportunities. Well interns because of brand value. Placements are little poor for civil. No campus life as such. May take another 3-4 years to experience the campus life. Institute is still in building stage, but good experience for students to learn. Various societies to grow and develop. Two fests - sociocultural and techno management - immerse experience. Good faculty.

In new IIT's opportunities are more but competition is less. Whereas in old IIT's population is more. IIT Bhubaneswar is an awesome place for knowledge and learning things. I preferred IIT Bhubaneswar, it was mentored by IIT Kharagpur (oldest IIT) and it is also near to my home town.
