Now it’s been upgraded to IIT Dhanbad. New qualified teaching faculty has joined this year. For Undergraduate Programs, ISM is the best choice. For courses like Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, M.Sc. Tech in Geology and Geophysics, ISM is the best institute in the country. For Under Graduate Programs, the placement is somewhat good, and it will get better in the following years. But for Post Graduate Programs, ISM is not a good choice. Placements: IIT is well-known for placement opportunities in my course, with a rate of 78%. The highest package offered was 53 LPA; the lowest package offered was 12 LPA, with an average of 32 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, InfoTech, Edge, Amazon, and Capgemini. Fifty-six percent of students secured internships.

Placements: The placements are good. Most of the students got placed, mostly 70%. The highest package offered is 33 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Many companies like IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, Goldman Sachs, etc., came here. 50% of students got internships. The highest package offered is 70,000, and the lowest salary is 10,000. There is a placement cell. It is very efficient and very cooperative.

Placements: Almost 28 students out of 60 got placements. The highest salary package offered was 22 LPA, and it was by a private petroleum company. The salary package offered was 10 LPA. Very few students got intereships. Many students are not placed. Very few companies visited the campus for placements.
