IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Nearly 60 percent of people in our branch were placed. The highest package is nearly 56 LPA; the average would be 16 LPA. Google, Microsoft, and many other companies are top recruiters for our college. Nearly 80 percent of students get interns. SDE, data analyst, and product manager are the top roles offered.

Placements: All batches consist of 1100–1200 students, consisting of different branches. As far as my branch is concerned, frankly, it has a lesser placement. But still, our average package remains at 11 lacs and the median is up to 10 lacs. Most of the students go to IT companies.

Placements: In our group, a batch of 53 students were present and almost all the students secured placements. The highest package is 1.5 crore per annum, the least is 10 lacs per annum and the average package is around 30–40 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs and Barclays, UK.

Placements: In civil engineering, only 28 percent of the students were placed in campus placement drives. The highest package reached up to 49 Lacs per annum, with the average being around 13 Lacs per annum. A variety of roles were offered, with jobs in the IT sector topping the list.

Placements: Here placements are good, about 80 to 90 percent of students got placed and the rest are preparing for UPSC, that's why. The highest package here is 1 crore and the lowest was 5 LPA. Top recruiting for our college is Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sprinkler, etc. Internship here is also good.

Placements: Our course has successfully placed 40-50 percent of students. The annual salary packages range from 6 Lacs to an impressive 52 Lacs. Among the top companies that recruit our students are Microsoft, Google, Zomato, Uber, Flipkart, Swiggy, and Bharat Petroleum. Additionally, 30-40 percent of students have secured internships with renowned companies such as Uber, Amazon, Flipkart, Google, and Adobe.

Placements: 80 to 89% of undergraduate students have secured placements. The highest salary package offered reaches up to several crores, approximately 2 crores per annum. On average, the annual package amounts to around 13 LPA. Renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and others conduct campus selections and offer exceptional internship opportunities.

Placements: Since I'm in the first year, I don't know the exact percentage, but students can find it on the official website. However, seniors have mentioned that around 90% of students are placed. The lowest package offered in Mechanical is 2.6 lacs per annum, while the highest package offered is 24 lacs per annum. Companies like PWC, DMFA, and more are among the recruiters.

Placements: 90 percent of students were placed this year. Additionally, some students secured placements off-campus, while others received PPOs from companies. Top recruiting companies include ONGC, Mess, Amazon, etc. The highest package was 1 crore internationally and 57 lac domestically. The average package was 17.2 lac per annum.

Placements: The college, being an IIT, offers numerous on-campus opportunities for placements and internships. Renowned companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and sprinklr actively recruit from the campus, providing a range of roles including product management, software development, and more. The current placement season for 2024 has witnessed a highest package of 51 LPA and a median package of 16 LPA.

Placements: In IIT, nearly all students secure placements in reputable companies, receiving attractive packages ranging from 9 LPA to 29 LPA, with an average package of 17 LPA. Microsoft is the preferred choice for a majority of students, while other renowned companies such as Infotech, Zoho, IBM, and Union also offer internships and job opportunities.

Placements: 50 percent of students got placed on campus, 20 percent got placed off campus, and others went for higher studies. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung are the top recruiters. The average package is 20 LPA, and the highest is 50 LPA. 30 percent of students got internships from American Express, Samsung, Analog Devices, and JSW.

Placements: An impressive 95% of students in our course secured placements. The range is remarkable, with the highest package hitting 12 lacs and the lowest at 5 lacs. The top recruiting companies are TCS, InfoTech, Google, and Amazon. Internship opportunities are good, with 80% securing positions in esteemed companies.

Placements: In my CSE course, among our seniors of the @# batch, 94% of all CSE students were placed. The highest package was about 50 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Sprinkler, Microsoft India, Reliance, and Amazon. About 55% of the 25 batches of CSE students got internships.

Placements: In my Computer Science and Engineering course, almost 95% of students secure placements. The highest package is around 58 LPA, with an average of approximately 23 LPA. Key recruiters include Google, Microsoft, and Sprinklr. About 30% of students secure internships in product-based companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and Sprinklr. The primary roles offered are mainly in Software Development Engineering (SDE).

Placements: The college provides internship opportunities, with renowned companies like Google, Amazon, and Infosys visiting the campus and offering attractive stipends. The placement scenario is favorable, with opportunities arising after the 6th semester. Approximately 90-95% of students secure on-campus placements, and there are also Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) available for those who have completed internships.

Placements: After the sixth semester, students become eligible for placement. There are many companies, including Google, Microsoft, Sprinkler, Walmart and Tata Motors. The average package is approximately 12–15 LPA and the highest package will be 50 LPA in 2022. About 90–93% of students got placement. The remaining students moved towards GATE and UPSC.

Placements: I am a first-year student at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, so there has been no placement for our batch till now. But taking reviews from seniors and from the statistics, I have come to know that the placements here are decent. I am from the electrical department, so last year, 82% of the total students in electrical got placed. 175 companies were open for electrical, and around 170 companies were open for all circuital branches. Placements: In the course of mining machinery engineering, the placements are okay. The placement percentage for the year 2023 was 75%. The average package is around INR 15 LPA. And these packages range from INR 7 LPA to 44 LPA, the highest being given by a teaching company for an IT job. Despite being a core branch (or, basically, a subset of mechanical engineering), students get placed into teaching companies for the role of software development, etc. It just depends on the skills of the student.

Placements: There has been an improvement in placements compared to the previous year. A total of 1082 on-campus placements were offered for UG students by companies like Amazon, Axel, Flipkart, Tata, Walmart, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Jaguar, Oracle, and Uber. 167 companies were open for the computer science branch, with a placement percentage of 93.13.
