IT JAM Fifth Admission List 2024 has been released for IIT Roorkee admisison to the MSc courses. All the students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme offered at IIT Guwahati must apply for UCEED first, and then submit a duly filled application to the institute. Each candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years, and the score of the entrance exam is valid only for one year. With regular fees, the candidate will have to fill out the form latest by october 31, 2024. Meanwhile, the last date to fill out the UCEED 2025 application form with late fees is November 8, 2024.

The selection of candidates for the MDes programme offered at IIT Guwahati is based on the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) conducted as a part of the central admission procedure. In addition to this, MDes aspirants need to clear the Design Aptitude Test (conducted at DoD, ITG for shortlisted candidates based on CEED) followed by a personal interview and portfolio evaluation. Aspirants can apply on the CEED website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).

Bachelor's degree (four-year) or equivalent qualification in Design/ Engineering/ Architecture/ Interior Design or any other Design-related field with a minimum of 6.0 CPI on a 10-point scale or 60% aggregate is the basic eligibility for the MDes programme offered at IIT Guwahati. Candidates with a Professional Diploma in Design of NID or a Professional Diploma of CEPT (five-year) with a minimum of 6.0 CPI out of 10 or 60% aggregate can also apply for MDes admission.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering is 5959 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. Candidates seeking admission in an IIT Guwahati MBA course must have a valid bachelor’s degree issued by a recognised university. Admission to the MBA course is based on merit in CAT score followed by + Personal Interview + Work Experience + Academic Merit. The seat allotment is carried out based on document verification, seat intake, and category of the students, during the counselling. The selection criteria for the M.Tech programme offered at IIT Guwahati comprises a valid GATE score followed by COAP counselling. Aspirants with a valid BTech or BE/ MCA/ MSc/ AMIETE degree with 60% aggregate or 6.0 CPI can apply. The GATE application process is carried out online (gate.iitk.ac.in).
