IIT Kharagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Placements provided in our college are above average. Students with good technical and communication skills get very good placements. The highest salary package offered is 2.70 CPA and the average salary package is 50 LPA. Around 140 to 145 companies offer internships to 600 to 800 students of different branches of engineering provided.

Placements: Our college provides good placements for all departments. The mechanical department dominated with a maximum number of placements.

Placements: Our college has a breakthrough performance in Kharagpur, the fastest of all these IITs. Our college has received around 1,000 jobs in just two days. Our college has provided more placement offers to the mechanical engineering department.

Placements: This year the average package was 16 Lacs and the highest was 92 lakhs. You cannot find core companies for biotechnology, so most of the students get placed in non-core companies. But, if you are passionate about Biotechnology then you can go for higher studies for research.

Placements: The placements for E&ECE branch have always been among the best. Students were offered jobs in all domains including core and non core jobs. Top software companies like Google, Microsoft and many more IT industry companies offered jobs. Multiple international offers were offered to Students. No official CTC data has been released for 2023 but the highest package is estimated to be around 2.67 crores. Core companies like Qualcomm, Nvidea, Texas Instruments etc. Also offer handsome salary jobs.

Placements: 95% get placements in IIT Kharagpur. Top companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Master card etc. The highest package is 3.98 crore P. A overall and 2.92 crore PA in our department. Average of campus is 10 Lacs per annum. In CSE department it is 74 Lacs per annum. And in our department it is 60 Lacs per annum.

Placements: 80% students of my course got placed in good companies. The highest package was of 60-70 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are sprinkler, Microsoft, Airbus, Google, MasterCard, Visa, Apple, Rubrik etc. Nearly 70% students got internship in above companies. Top role was Data Analyst and Software Developer.

Placements: In our college, placements have increased by 24% in 2022. The highest salary package offered is 2.4 CPA. The average salary package offered for CS and ECE courses is 30 LPA. Our college has renowned alumni namely, Sundar Pichai, Arvind Kejriwal, Gaurav Taneja, etc.

Placements: Last year, 3 students sat for the placements and three of them got placed in good companies. You can sit for various roles like software developer, data analyst, tutor in prestigious coaching institute and private colleges also. A good package was offered here last year, i.e. 18 LPA.

Placements: I didn't opt for placements. I wanted to go for Ph.D. so placements isn't a option I'm looking for. Though you have to register at CDC for placements links to which will open in last year. Vast no. Of companies offer placements every year paying a hefty salary.

Placements: Most of the department students gets placed during the placement season. The highest package goes around 2-2.4 crores, while the average package is around 15-18 lacs. Roles being offered are SDE, Analyst, Product Manager, Consultant etc. Everyone is placed .

The average salary package offered is 8 LPA to 10 LPA. There are many core and non-core companies like Airbus, Boeing, Tata, etc. The salary package offered is 40 LPA for aerospace.
