No, direct admission is not valid at Imperial College of Engineering and Research (ICOER). Admission to all the UG & PG courses at the institute is entrance-based. Internships are provided to the students at ICOER, but the opportunity is quite small. As it is a tier 3 college on the outskirts of Pune many top companies do not visit the campus, but some bright students (around 30%) do get the internships.

The administration is trying but the internships are not that great. But as a studnet you can always build your skills and applyu for internships offline or off campus.
