IIT (BHU)- where science and spirituality come together.
Placements: About 95% of students who sit for placement are placed with an average package of 24 LPA. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and other FAANG/MAANG companies visit our campus for hiring and offer decent international as well as domestic packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classes and hostel conditions are on an average level. New projects have been taken for development of infrastructure structures, academic centres, and other developments. Campus proctoring has been increased in last few years. Departments have advanced laboratories with highly advanced equipments .
Faculty: Excellent faculty with an astonishing educational background. Every professor and other non-teaching staff are very friendly and helpful. In core branches, professors play an important role in referring to industrial research and foreign studies.
Other: Fests are a great experience and above all, this college is known for its alumni network. You'll find our alumni in every field and every company.

Exploring IIT BHU Varanasi.
Placements: In the 2022–23 session, about 81% of the registered students were placed and about 75% of the registered students in the metallurgy department were placed. The overall highest package offered was 1.2 Cr and the same for the metallurgy department was 50 LPA. The average and median package were 17.7 LPA and 15 LPA, respectively, in the metallurgy department. In the 2023–24 session, 353 paid internships were offered in companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Mastercard, American Express, Nvidia, Standard Chartered, Qualcomm, Schlumberger, Samsung, HSBC, etc.
Infrastructure: The institute has a lecture theatre in which classrooms can accommodate around 150–200 students. The classrooms are not equipped with air conditioning (except the Annie Besant Lecture Theatre (ABLT), which I feel should be provided as temperatures here go well above 40 degrees Celsius in the summer). The Sreenivas Deshpande Library has all sorts of books you will need in your college, be it for academics, research, literature, etc. It is connected to reading halls, which have enough room for the students to study. The institute has three grounds: ADV Ground, Gymkhana Ground, and Rajputana Ground. The institute also has a student activity centre (SAC), which has a gymnasium and facilities for all sorts of indoor games. Students mostly hang out at Limbdi Corners (infamously known as LC) after having their classes. The hostels have well-maintained lawns and a badminton court. Every hostel room accommodates 3 students, though the rooms here are designed in such a way that they would be perfect for 2 students. Every room has two LAN ports for Ethernet connections. There is a common room that has a television with an internet connection, which hardly anyone watches unless it is a cricket match. It also has room for other indoor games such as table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. The institute provides Wi-Fi facilities for the students in the institute buildings, classrooms and hostels. The mess in the hostels serves decent-quality food. There are also canteens in the hostel, which also serve decent-quality food. The Health Center offers any medical help needed. There is also a hospital (Sir Sunder Lal Hospital) within the campus for emergency cases.
Faculty: The professors here have a very strong academic background. Each one of them has complete knowledge of the subject matter. But that does not qualify them to be good teachers. Some professors are extremely good at their work and helpful. The institute has a very robust and challenging course structure, which might prove demanding for some individuals. Courses are allocated based on the department, laying the foundation for upcoming semesters. More or less every department has to study physics, Chemistry and mathematics. Along with these, there are some additional courses such as Manufacturing Practices, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Thermodynamics, Computer Programming, etc., which are allotted to different departments as per the needs of the department. Apart from these, the institute also conducts tutorial classes for problem-solving and remedial classes before exams organized by the Students' Council.

Amazing college and I am satisfied with my decision.
Placements: The Indian Institute of Technology is renowned for its engineering programs and has a strong reputation for placement. Typically, IIT-BHU records high placement rates with companies from various sectors like IT, finance, consulting, core engineers, etc., like Amazon, Flipkart, ICICI, Google, and Indian Oil. The highest package recorded last year was 50 LPA from the metallurgy branch and 90% of the students were placed, according to reports.
Infrastructure: The IIT-BHU campus has various departmental buildings, a library and laboratories. Sports facilities and recreational space are also available. Many students have positively reviewed the academic infrastructure, mentioning well-equipped labs and libraries. However, opinions on hostel facilities might differ based on individual preferences and expectations. The hostels in general are manageable, but few might feel comfortable adjusting with three people in one room. But it won't be a problem after few days.
Faculty: The institute has a diverse and experienced faculty who are usually well qualified and dedicated to their teaching responsibilities. They often engage students in discussions, encourage critical thinking and provide guidance for research and projects. Many students pursue research work in their fifth year under the guidance of these qualified teachers.
Other: The campus is quite big and surrounded by greenery. The college sees three main fests namely: Kashiyatra, the cultural fest, Technex, the techno-management fest and Spardha, the sports fest. All three are organized and conducted with great enthusiasm and are a must-attend. The college provides scholarships for students who perform academically well in their first and second semesters. Our IIT also has one of the biggest alumni networks among all IITs, which gives us a big advantage in placements. There are various canteens and fruit stalls available throughout the campus, as well as canteens inside the hostels.

The review of IIT BHU by a student.
Placements: The placement at IIT Bhu is amazing; around 85% of students get placement in all-over institutes. The major companies, like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., are the main job providers. There is an average placement of around INR 20 lacs from all the branches, mostly.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old and on an open campus. There is a good network connection on the whole campus. But the third and fourth-year hostels are too dirty and not so good. There is also a gymkhana on campus and there are three fields for sports activities. Our campus is full of greenery.
Faculty: The faculty of IIT Bhu is knowledgeable and helpful. My branch is very good and understands all the things taught by the faculty. The course is average—not so easy but not too hard. The semester exam is too difficult; no student gets full marks.
Other: I chose this campus because I had no other options other than this. There is a sports event that happens in our institute, which goes on for 3 days and different students join our sport fest.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.
Placements: Placements here at IITBHU are really good. Almost all students, who sit for placements, get placed from my department. Last year, the highest package was 2.04Cr and the average package was 19 lacs. Majority of the companies visiting IITBHU are software companies including Microsoft and Google etc.
Infrastructure: IITBHU provides us with decent facilities such as Wi-Fi campus, well-equipped labs, a rich library and Student Activity Centre to name a few. Hostels at IITBHU have decent infrastructure and mess food, especially in my hostel, is quite good. There are lots of sports and games facilities in Student Activity Centre, IITBHU.
Faculty: Professors at IITBHU are highly qualified and really good at their job. Most of the professors are helpful. They help you in visualising the concepts and make you really understand the concepts. Exams are a bit tough, at least that was case for me. But overall, the course structure is relevant and interesting.
