COAP 2023 Round 10 (additional round of offers) was held between Jul 14 and Jul 15. GATE COAP counselling registration begins after the GATE result declaration. IIT BHU's placement season in 2022 saw remarkable success with over 1,000 job offers extended. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 1277 and closing rank was 1318. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2983 and 2983. Admission to Integrated BTech +M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE.   Eligibility for admission includes holding a BE/BTech/MSc degree or its equivalent with a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60% marks in aggregate for General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS categories. Candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible. Additionally, BTech graduates from IITs with a CGPA of 8.00 or higher are eligible for admission without the need for a GATE score. AMIE/Grad. IETE candidates also meet the eligibility criteria.

IIT BHU Varanasi offers an MTech program, which is among the highly sought-after programs at the institution. This is a two year programme and is divided into four semesters.
