Q:   I got 14513 rank in TS EAMCET (obc). Can I get seat in JNTUH.

A:
Based on the previous year's cutoff, a rank of 14513 in TS EAMCET under the OBC category may not be sufficient to get a seat in the B.Tech programs at JNTUH. However, the cutoff varies every year, and it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. The cutoff for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH through TS EAMCET varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, the availability of seats, and the category of the candidate. It is difficult to predict the exact cutoff for the current academic year. However, based on the previous year's cutoff, the minimum TS EAMCET rank required for admission to the B.Tech programs at JNTUH was around 20,000 to 25,000 for the general category, and for the OBC category, the cutoff was around 30,000 to 35,000. Please note that the cutoff varies every year, and it is advisable to check the official website of JNTUH or the TS EAMCET counselling website for the latest cutoff ranks. Also, meeting the cutoff rank does not guarantee admission to the programme as the final seat allotment depends on the availability of seats, the candidate's preference, and other factors.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: The placements are not so good, particularly for integrated courses. The average package is around INR 5 LPA, the highest package is around INR 7-8 LPA, and the lowest lies between INR 2-4 LPA. Companies like Ashok Leyland, L&T, Mahindra, and Mahindra visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities in the department and hostels are not good. There will be no Wi-Fi provided in the department and the equipment in the labs are outdated. Coming to the hostel facilities, the food quality is average and the water facilities are satisfactory. We have a university hospital.
Faculty: Teaching at JNTU is okay. The senior professors teaching is good and helpful. According to my opinion, most of the assistant professors are not well qualified and knowledgeable. The level of the examination is difficult, and the exam paper correction is tough.

Overall the campus is good.
Placements: Overall placement percentage is 50. The highest and the lowest packages are 46lpa and 3lpa. Top recruiters are Microsoft Google and oracle and many more. The core companies come for my course are MRF, Ashok Leyland and many more. Most of the role offered is data analyst. Percentage of students got internship is 50.
Infrastructure: The lab infra is well and good Wi-Fi facility is not upto the mark. Classrooms are okayish. The hostel facilities are limited, the maintenance of hostel is not up to the mark and the mess food in hostel is average. There is a university health care center for students too.
Faculty: Only few of the lectures are Ph.D. qualified. Most of the lecturers present here are contact basis only. The course curriculum is updated according to industry requirement. Now coming to semester exams. The exams are little bit tougher to pass but level of question paper is good and correction is a little bit tough. The pass percentage is almost 60.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion towards mechanical engineering. The labs in mechanical engineering department need to be improved more The events and cultural fests in our campus are fabulous.

The Student Life Motivation.
Placements: As a Mechanical IDP student, many people have this doubt in their mind: "If I'm from an IDP (Integrated Dual Degree Programme), will I get placed if I opt for this?" But, as per my knowledge, I’m going to pass out in 2027, and practically, I have seen three batches passing out with placements. In our course, 50-60% of people got placed, and the highest package range was 20-21 LPA, while the lowest range was between 4-5 LPA, so on average, it’s around 12-13 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Bosch, Ashok Leyland, and Tata. 12% of people got their desired internship, while the rest did the SCR.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is kind of poor in the hostel; we do not have a signal at all. Labs are good enough for students to study, and some classrooms are very good, while others are very bad. The food was once delicious in the hostel, but day by day, its taste started to decrease. In the canteen, the food is okay. Medical facilities are not completely satisfactory. Sports and games are available, but it’s in our own interest.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is not bad. Semester exams are not that difficult. The curriculum is relevant to my course, and semester exams can be passed easily with an 80% passing rate. Yes, the students are industry-ready.
Other: I have a passion for Mechanical Engineering, so I chose this. The course itself is improvised and good, but we have very few events happening.

Although it is not completely dissatisfied, it is a good and well authorised college.
Placements: 40% were placed in our campus placements and most of them are in core side and there are with good CTC and many are facing some problems but they are cleared by our placement coordinators and finally it is good college where a large number of core and it placements will come to campus .
Infrastructure: Good but the hostel is a little bit congested and students feel good with the environment that is there in the college and overall the hostel if better than other pgs that are outside of our college so ipreferstaying in the college hostel than in the outside.
Faculty: Not bad but the evaluation process is a little bit not little bit it is mostly unfair but they will pass you eventually but one cannot get good grades but they will pass the academics and yes backlogs are also one of the problems and if you get one you can clear it within the Next semester or else Next year.
Other: No comment because everything is mentioned above for your questions by my answers .

It is a good college with supportive faculty members.
Placements: Our college provides good placements with good salary packages. Core companies and software companies offer placements to all branches. The minimum salary package offered in the software sector is 4 LPA and in the core sector, the salary package is 4 LPA to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our department building is old but the PG block is new. The infrastructure of our college is good. Hostel food is very good and delicious with good hygiene. Hostel rooms are good with sufficient space and cots.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and supportive. Every faculty member support students in their interested field like research or master's degree. They will help in every way like providing material, labs, and others.
Other: I recommend students to join our college.
