The NEST 2025 Registration will start soon, tentatively in the third week of March 2025. The Exam date for the NEST 2025 Exam is tentative for the fourth week of June 2025. 

The Hall Ticket will be out in the third week of June 2025, tentatively. Once, the NEST exam is successfully conducted candidates will get the opportunity to evaluate their scores based on the provisional answer key which is tentative for the first week of July 2025. The NEST 2025 Result is tentative for the second week of July 2025 for candidates who wish to pursue the Integrated 5-year MSc Programme, MSc Programme in Medical & Radiological Physics, Integrated MSc+PhD Programme, and PhD Programme. 

The date for the first round of NEST NISER 2025 Counselling is the first week of August 2025, tentative. The NEST important dates include the application form dates, application correction dates, admit card dates, exam dates, answer key dates, result dates, counselling dates, and all other important dates. Q:   What is the eligibility for NEST exam?

A:

The NEST 2024 eligibility criteria is defined on both basis age wise as well education wise.

Admissions in NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai are done based on a candidate's score in the NEST exam. Candidates who have passed Class XII from the Science stream are eligible to apply for the NEST exam. 

Candidates should pass Class XII in Science stream from a recognised board in India with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates). Candidates should have passed Class XII either last year or will pass this year.

Q:   Is NEST 2024 registration date extended?

A:

Yes, the authorities extended the last date to apply online for NEST 2024 exam. Earlier the last date for NEST 2024 registration was May 31, 2024, but now applicants can fill the online form till June 3, 2024. 

After the NEST 2024 registration is over, students will be able to make the correction.

The application form of NEST 2024 was released by exam conducting authorities on the official website on April 3, 2024. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the form. 

Earlier the NEST 2024 application form was about to be released on March 30, 2024 but later it was postponed. Students must check the details of all other important events such as admit card date, exam date, answer key date and result dates.

Q:   When did NEST 2024 notification release?

NISER, Bhubaneshwar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai released the notification on March 27, 2024 on the official website. Along with notification it also released the NEST exam flyer. 

The notification was released in online mode on the official website. Along with release of the notification the exam conducting authorities also released the application form to register for the exam on April 3, 2024

Applicants are advised to keep checking official website or NEST 2024 page to be updated about the events and accordingly prepare for the exam.

Q:   What items do I need to carry while appearing for NEST exam?

A:

Applicants are advised to reach the exam centre along with the below mentioned items. 

  • NEST 2024 Admit card
  • ID proof or Admit card of 12th board exam
  • Pencil/Pen

Students must note that no electronic gadgets will be premissible to the exam hall. Hence they need not to carry anything. Along with this applicants are advised to reach the exam hall before the mentioned time in the admit card.

NEST 2025 Exam Schedule

Candidates must go through the following table to learn about the previous year's exam schedule of the NEST Exam. The chances of the timing being the same for the academic year 2025 are high. Q:   What will be the last date to pay the NEST application fee?

A:

Candidates could pay the application fee of NEST 2024 till the last date as mentioned in the official notification.

After all details on the NEST application form will be filled, candidates need to pay the application fee. Candidates could make the payment of the NEST 2024 application fee in online (through credit/ debit card/net banking) mode.

After the payment is done, applicants need to download the recipt of payment for future use.

Q:   What will be the timing to appear in NEST 2024 exam?

A:

The NEST 2024 exam will be conducted in to two shifts. The first shift exam will be held in between 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and second shift exam will take place between 2:30 to 6:00 pm. 

Applicnats who want to appear in the exam must ensure that they reach the exam hall before the time and leave once the exam is over and they submit their copy to the authorities.

Q:   At what time do I need to go to exam centre if my exam starts at 9:30 AM?

A:

If NEST exam begins at 9:30 AM then normally the reporting time is mentioned in the admit card is 8:00 AM. But many a times students gets confused with the name and location of exam centre. 

Hence it is advisable to reach the exam centre in the time. Atleast 10-15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. 

As late enteries will not be entertained and in that case applicants might waste one year if he/she is not permitted to enter to the exam hall.

Q:   Who will release NEST 2024 Admit Card?

A:

The hall ticket of NEST 2024 will be released by NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM–DAE CEBS, Mumbai. The admit card will be released in online mode.  Applicants who have successfully filled the application form will be able to download the admit card by entering login credentials. i.e user ID & pwd.

Q:   When will NEST 2024 application process starting?

A:

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 application form date has been announced on March 10, 2024. The NEST application process has been started done from April 3, 2024 to May 31, 2024.

NEST 2024 registration process will be completely online. Aspirants who will be appearing for the examination are advised to check the eligibility criteria conscientiously before applying for the application form. The online application window is expected to remain open for a period of a month or so. The application fee for nest will be paid online, through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking or UPI.
