National Institute of Technology Nagaland (also known as NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur) is one of the thirty-one NIT Colleges in India. It was established in 2010 by an act of the parliament. Located in Dimapur, Nagaland, it is an Institute of National importance. NIT Dimapur has been ranked 151-200 by NIRF 2024 under the 'Engineering' category. Furthermore, the National Institute of Technology Nagaland has also been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

- Beginning within the mentorship of NIT Silchar for 2 years, NIT Nagaland is known to be among 10 newly approved NITs in the year 2009.
- For the first 2 years, NIT Nagaland operated from the campus of NIT Assam.
- The Institute began its academic year in 2010, with permanent land allocation by January 2012.

- Central Library: The Central Library of NIT Nagaland has a collection of over 9,500 books in streams such as Engineering, Basic Sciences, Management, Humanities, and others.
