It is a typical tier-3 government college.
Placements: Almost 70% of the batch students got placed. Most of the students from the IT department got placed. Less than 10% of the students got placed from the core branch of ECE. Less than 1% of the students from the core branch of CS. The highest salary package offered is 6.25 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, ELXI, VVDN, Oracle and Nissan Digital. There are no internships in our college. Top roles offered to the students are verification engineer (VLSI), software engineer and systems engineer.
Infrastructure: The library has a great collection of books. Labs are well-equipped, and there is also a FAB lab. Teachers provide great support and motivation to use the facilities. I didn't stay in the college hostel. If you stay outside the college hostel, then total cost involving all expenses, including the college fee, will be around 1 lac.
Faculty: Teachers here were well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were very helpful and motivated students to do well. Some teachers make special efforts to teach industry level things outside of the curriculum. Digital image processing class taken by Jose Martin Sir is the best course which I have attended till now. I am not sure whether the course curriculum makes students industry-ready, but steps are made in the right direction. Still, it lags behind.
Other: I had leanings towards computer science rather than our branch electronic and communication. So I didn't look much into the industry aspect of the course. Otherwise, the lectures are very helpful, which are taken by most of the teachers. The campus is very beautiful and lush green, and it is located on hilly terrain.
