The admission procedure at Ramanujan College, UoD is similar to other affiliated colleges of University of Delhi. The college accepts CUET score card for admissions into different undergraduate programs. The steps involved in the admission process are:

1.     CUET Registration- Register for the CUET examination and fill up the application form.

2.     CUET Examination- Registered candidates appear for the CUET examination and attain a valid score.

3.     Registration for DU CSAS- Visit the official website of DU and register on the CSAS portal, fill out preferences and make payment.

4.     CSAS Counselling- Submit the college name and course combination on the DU CSAS portal. Lists will be released and candidate can accept and confirm the admission on that seat.

The entrance exam scores that Ramanujan college, University of Delhi accepts for admissions to BA programs are between the scores 95% to 100%. Admissions are based on the subject- based normalized score provided by NTA for calculation of the programme specific CUET score. For candidates taking admissions under the ECA (Extra- curricular activities) quota, 25% weightage of the CUET programme they applied and 75% score from the ECA category under which the candidate is considered. 

Ramanujan College (like all DU affiliated colleges) adopted CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. Ramanujan College admission for UG courses (as per DU) will be through Common Seat Allocation System of the University of Delhi. But, at first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit Ramanujan College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option. 

Step 3: The University releases the  DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists 

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the Ramanujan College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once Ramanujan College accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

The applications for Ramanujan College that run simultaneously with DU registrations for undergraduate courses via CUET 2024, (for UG programmes) generally began in Feb, and open till March. Interested students were able to apply online on the official website of CUET UG.

The CUET 2024 was held in hybrid mode from May 15 to May 24, 2024. CUET serves as the gateway to top universities in which CUET scores are accepted for admission including Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Jamia Milia Islamia, and so forth.

Ramanujan College, a part of the University of Delhi, offers B.Sc (honours) programs in various disciplines, including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Environmental Science. The college has a total strength of 2611 students, with about 60-70 students in each class for the B.Sc (honours) Statistics program. Therefore, the college can accommodate a significant number of students for its B.Sc programs, with an estimated 2000 students per batch and around 50 students per class.
