Not fully satisfied by the college.
Placements: First the faculty of this department is genuinely good. Basically they try to make students more energetic and it's one of the good faculty of Delhi University. The batch 2020, 2021,2022, got the best faculty who are really hard-working.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of shivaji college is perfect which provides a type of environment that attracts the students. There is the biggest library of D. U. in shivaji college containing nearly all of the course related books. It also has a good, fully clean and sanitised canteen.
Faculty: Shivaji College is good for humanities courses as well as commerce and Science because of its good teaching staff/faculty, that makes it 100% guarantees of brighter future of the students. But they sometimes lack in time management, otherwise it is all good.

Shivaji College is the best college at Delhi University and it has an A grade from NIRF.
Placements: There are no placements in our B.A. course but placements are available for the science and math departments. Around 40% to 50% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Good placements are provided. Only 30-40% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The new infrastructure of the Jijabai Block is excellent. However, there is no hostel at this college. There are two Wi-Fi networks, one for faculty members and another for students. There is one library where all course books are available.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, but students are very hard-working. The pass percentage is 97%.
Other: I chose this course for the UPSC optional paper. I think political science is the best subject among others.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: B.A. honours Political Science has a good scope. Shivaji College provides the best internship for students. Although packages are average or below average in it, after M.A. and Ph.D., good packages can be availed from this college, also like other colleges of DU.
Infrastructure: Shivaji College has good infrastructure and canteen facilities. It has a new building which is totally full of modern furniture and lifts as well. Classrooms have good facilities and there is a library facility as well. The sports complex is also very nice at Shivaji College.
Faculty: Teachers and staff of Shivaji College are very good. Teachers are helpful and very knowledgeable. Courses are based on a semester basis and there is an average difficulty level of exams. Students score good CGPA there, like 9 and sometimes above it.
Other: B.A. honours Political Science provides good scope. Students can go for M.A. and Ph.D. after graduation. In Shivaji College, there is good management for extracurricular activities and functions as well.

I'm satisfied with the campus.
Placements: The college has a special society only for placements called Placement Cell, through which students get benefits, and they also have contacts with many companies. Many students from our college got internships in many ministries of the government.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel, which sometimes is a very bad aspect for outstation students. The college has separate classrooms for every department. The library is very good as it is the largest library of Delhi University. The canteen is good. The sports complex is good.
Faculty: The faculty are good, and the curriculum is good. Exams are fine. Teachers help us and answer every query. The curriculum is relevant as it covers almost every important topic. Students are satisfied with it. Semester exams are moderate, and he pass percentage is 100%.
Other: B.A. hons., political science helps students to prepare for civil services and many other government exams.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: College placements cell is very hardworking and understanding. Top students have successfully been placed. Some of our college alumni hold very good packages, and they also passed out from the campus where we are studying now. So, it depends on our hard work.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very beautiful, with its complementary garden and stunning buildings. But, some classes are made of bamboo, and I don't know why they are built. They are deteriorating beauty and environment of the beautiful college campus.
Faculty: The faculty of the college campus is very supportive and understanding, and they are also good at teaching their respective subjects. Exams are conducted in a very organised manner, so no recognised activity should be neglected.
Other: College holds some fests, an annual function, and sports activities. The number of students studying there is not very high, so it can feel crowded on the campus.

Yes your percentage is good, you might get admission in 2nd or 3rd cut off. If you are from any reserved category, chances are obviously more. But even if you are from general category, you can get this college. Keep your hopes high! All the best!
