To be eligible for B.Com at Shivaji College, candidates need to pass 10+2 level with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. The selection is based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. For B.Com (Hons.), candidates must have passed 10+2 with any one Language from List A with a Mathematics/Applied Mathematics and any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1 and the other can be from either List B1 or List B2.

The college offers B.Des in the UG domain. The duration of the course is 4 years. The eligibility criteria, selection criteria and number of seats are mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have completed 10+2 from any recognised board or 10+3 (Diploma) from any recognised college are eligible to apply.

The candidate's maximum age should be 23 years.

Earlier for PG admissions, Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) used to be accepted, but from 2023 onwards, PG admissions will only be based on the CUET PG exam.

Once the CUET results are declared, eligible candidates need to register themselves on Delhi University’s admission portal - admission.uod.ac.in for all UG and PG course admissions.  The final Selection for PG courses will be based on the merit list released for both merit and entrance-based admissions.

Shivaji College admission procedure to the PG course is based on both merit and entrance - DUET. Merit-based admissions are offered only to DU graduates. In Shivaji College PG admissions 50% of seats are filled by the entrance exam and the other 50% of seats are based on the merit of the qualifying exam.

Shivaji College Placement 2023 report has not been released yet and as per NIRF report 2022 a total of 85 UG students were placed during the placement drive. The median package offered to UG students was INR 4 LPA.

Shivaji College cutoff 2023 is out for UG and PG programs based on CUET marks. PG Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment result has been released on October 20, 2023. Candidates can check the allocation result by logging into their CSAS (PG) dashboard @pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Acceptance of the allocated seat will be done from October 20 to October 22 and the last date for fee payment is October 24, 2023. Also, NTA has announced CUET UG 2024 and CUET PG 2024 exam dates. The CUET UG 2024 exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, while the CUET PG 2024 exam is scheduled to be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

Shivaji College has a very active Placement Cell that works round the year to provide internship and employment opportunities to its students. The cell also organizes skill development workshops, seminars, and talks that give students ample insight into the scenario prevailing in the current job market. The cell also coordinates with the Central Placement Cell of the D.U to ensure that students also h access to opportunities provided by the University Campus. Every year, Placement Cell also conducts a survey to analyze the interest of students in placement and internship opportunities and plans the activities accordingly.

Getting into the B.Sc programme at Shivaji College with a 75 percentile in CUET can be tricky. Things like which programme you want, your category, and how many people are applying all play a part. Looking at past years can help a bit, but the scores can change. It's best to wait for the official scores to come out closer to when you apply. Doing well in your Class 12 exams and showing off any achievements can help too. It's also smart to check out other colleges that offer B.Sc programs and see what scores they usually look for. Just remember, getting a 75 percentile doesn't mean you'll definitely get in, but doing your research can improve your chances.

Common Univeristy Entrance Test (CUET) result is released by National Testing Agency. CUET syllabus is divided into three sections viz., Languages, Domain Subject and General Test. CUET language section assesses candidate through reading comprehension (factual, literary, and narrative), literary aptitude and vocabulary. CUET syllabus second section- domain subject assesses the candidate's in depth knowledge on the subject he/she has opted for.
