Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is very low because the college only offers Bachelor's courses. The top recruiting companies were Zomato etc. Around 50% of students got internships. The top roles offered were by management firms, and some were placed in laboratories.
Infrastructure: The faculty are very helpful. Labs are organised well, and also Wi-Fi facilities are available. The library has a wide range of books with different editions. The canteen food is not good. It is very bad. Medical facilities are available. There is a huge ground in front of the college.
Faculty: The college comes under Delhi University, so the course curriculum is as per the university guidelines. We can say that they designed it pretty well, ranging from core courses to DSE. Semester exams are not very difficult. A student only needs 40% of the total marks in theory and practical to pass.

Overall experience was nice, it was a rememberable experience.
Placements: I didn't opt for any placement but if you want to get a placement there are societies like placement cells. And for some courses, there are workshops for placement for a week or something. You can also contact teachers if you want to go into research internships.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide any hostel. The labs have equipment that works. Wi-fi works almost all the time. But in summers, it gets difficult. No ACs in classrooms except in some computer labs. The canteen is good. There's an attendance issue in the college. You need at least 70% to generate admit card.
Faculty: The curriculum was good According to DU guidelines. Some teachers were good, they knew what they were teaching but some teachers just read what was written in the book. Almost every student from my class passed the course. A minimum of 35% is required to pass the course.
Other: Fest is fun. They last for 2 days but it's hard to get the entry. You have to show your id every time you enter the campus. There's a sports event every year where you can show your talent.

I am absolutely satisfied with campus, crowd, faculty department and overall, it is a good college.
Placements: Placements are not for our college. Placement cell is good but the amount of people who get placed is not so high because this college is much oriented toward research. So if you want to pursue further studies and don't want to indulge in placements, then it will be good for you.
Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful and you have many places to just hang out with your friends. The building is quite big and full of rooms and halls. The library is excellent and full of space. You will find so many books on all subjects and departments. The library of our college is the best part. You can sit there and study for unlimited hours without feeling any distractions. The range of books available in the library is very vast and the library staff is the best. They help in all the things like issuing the book, returning the book, finding the books, etc.
Faculty: In academics, the college is decent. There are teachers who you'd feel are great and most helpful but there are strict teachers too. The physics department is good, labs are vast with full of apparatus with good lab assistants.
Other: Fest celebration, cultural celebrations are excellent and are must to attend. Many known celebrities have come to our college for fests and many bands and DJ too.

Review of Shivaji College, University of Delhi
Placements: There are less placement opportunities in science courses. But in other courses like B.Com, there are better opportunities. Almost 80% of the students got placed in the previous year and the average salary package offered was is around 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Almost 50 companies visited our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is better from outside. Classrooms are not as good as in many of the private colleges but the facilities provided are good and also have a sports complex. Our college has a good water facility and the library has all facilities.
Faculty: Professors here are very helpful and are always available for their students online / offline. They give us a lot of information like placement updates and the visiting of the companies. According to our subjects, exams are scheduled and exams conducted are moderate.
Other: I chose this course to complete my graduation for further qualifying exams for government jobs. The best thing about our course is that it opens many opportunities for us in the future. Many events are organised on campus by different societies.

This college is a little expensive for B.Sc physics course.
Placements: It is difficult for B.Sc physics students to get placements from college through the physics branch but they can easily grab the opportunity by learning a lot of skills that the college encourages and enhance during the course. So, the student will have theoretical knowledge of his own course as well as have enhanced skills such as coding C+ and so on. These things will finally help to get placed. In Shivaji College, more than 65% of the students get placements from college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, physics lab, and lab instruments are good. Even it has a beautiful library. The entire infrastructure is so warm and well structured. There is a big sports complex, a canteen, and medical facilities are available too.
Faculty: Professors here are helpful and have good behavior with students. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They have good teaching skills. B.Sc physics is a natural science. Hardly it is used in industry. It is also done to grab higher education. Having a B.Sc physics degree doesn't make you hold good except for some government jobs.
Other: I chose B.Sc physics to go for M.Sc. The best thing about the course is only physics and nothing else. What I felt that the course isn't design for this generation, it's syllabus is old fashion. Shivaji college organises many events and fest.
