    Overall, a decent good college.
Placements: In my course, almost 90% of students are placed in top companies like Zoho, Accenture, and many more. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Every student must do internships, they can start their internships from their 2nd year from outside. Top roles offered in my course are data analyst and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for my course available are artificail intelligence and data science lab exclusively for this department. They also have normal computer lab and library. Wi-Fi is also available in these labs. Hostel infrastructure is poor if it rains, water leaks from the roof and switchboards.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, all are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and understandable. Course curriculum will only start from the second year. For the first year, all departments will have common subjects and common exam.
Other: I have chosen artificial intelligence and data science course. The reason I chose this course is that it has been predicted that AI may be the future, so studying it will help in the future for finding jobs.

The college was good, but it didn't meet my expectations of a good college.
Placements: Recently, a group of 59 students got placed in TCS at a large scale. The highest salary package offered was 6.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiters at our college are TCS and ZOHO. Around 5% of students received internships at TCS. The roles offered are mostly software development positions.
Infrastructure: It has a huge library and smart classrooms, but no Wi-Fi. The hostel quality is not good, though the food quality in the mess and canteen is good. They provide medical facilities and offer strong support for sports and games. Many sports events are conducted in the college, along with tech events like Hackathons.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough to teach. Staff and faculty members are friendly. The curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are a bit harder to pass if students don't study. If they don't understand a particular topic, students can ask faculty members during break time, and they will explain it more clearly.

Poor quality education, decent infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: I am a final year student of batch 2021-2025, So far only a few companies have come with an average placement offer of 6LPA, maximum and minimum of 10LPA and 3LPA respectively. I am an AI student and there are no companies that have come specifically for recruiting students of my major. They mostly are eligible for all the companies but a few companies reject them and prefer IT and CSE departments. In my department almost every student had got an internship offer but only a limited number of people got internship offer through college, about 5-10%. Top role offered in my course is of Software developer engineer and the placement percentage so far in my batch is about 10%. .
Infrastructure: For my course, the laboratory infrastructure is excellent supported by Intel GPU Lab. But unfortunately the technical support staff aren't very skilled to understand the issues and to solve them. Labs have centralized AC which runs almost all the time. Classrooms are not very much appreciable, the tables are shorter in heights and it is uncomfortable for taller people to sit. Each classrooms contains about 6-8 fans and each class can accomodate about 64 students. The rooms get pretty warm in the summer which makes us uncomfortable to sit. The food availability in canteen and mess is good, but the quality isn't very much assuring. The medical facility is pretty basic in our college, but our campus got a medical College so they can help us to medicate few complications. Our college got exceptional incubation centre, but only a limited people are allowed to work there. They work on outstanding projects of various domains including over, ar vr, game development, and more. Library ambience is great and the set of books available is good. Wi-Fi is available but the speed is way too slow as many people connect to it. Mobile network is available but speed is very slow. There are sports court available in our college, but students can't access it during college hours. They may access them after college hours but facilities are poor. Sports day is hosted but it's mostly based, so if you want to shine in sports, you might have to skip the college.
Faculty: Teachers of my department are basically skilled and they have knowledge mostly in CSE and IT course concepts. They are also in the state of learning about the AI, this, and ML concepts hence their output isn't very much useful, students mostly tend to learn by themselves. Most of the staff of my department is old who were there since the beginning of our 1st year put efforts to teach us but new staff mostly just read out notes and teach us nothing, or they come and stand simply without teaching. The curriculum isn't helping for our placement as our syllabus lacks Java or C+ languages which are mostly asked during placement exams, and companies never ask topics based on AI yet, and the job roles are related to SDE (software developer engineer) but our syllabus doesn't have any subject teaching us that. The subjects cover mostly the basics and doesn't make us industry ready. The practical knowledge of staff is very minimal and practical aren't taught by them and we mostly remember the code and vomit it or a few try to understand and implement it. Semester exams are pretty easy and the pass percentage is about 80% but few staff are based and they doesn't give marks during CAT exams which are conducted every month which affects our internal marks. In a summary, the teaching quality of staff and practical knowledge gained by students is poor.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in the domain of AI and ML, but now I understand that companies prefer post graduate students who are specialized in AI or ML or any of these domains. But this course, offers basic insights and foundation knowledge to understand the concepts of AI, ML, this and it is pretty much helpful, but since most of them are learnt by our own, it might be better if I chose CSE or IT as it would have helped me in placement perspective. It would be better if the syllabus is completely refreshes and staff recruited are skilled both theoretically and practically as we gain very minimal practical knowledge which is more important than technical knowledge which can be helpful in industrial aspect. Cultural event was held after 6 year, but it was pretty fun. The college is pretty strict with bunking stuff and if the supervisors catch us, they collect the ID card and ask us to pay fine. But it might help students to gain discipline, but we might have to live a stressful life due to strictness. There are no to very less extracurricular activities available during the campus life.

100percent placements ,highly qualified faculty members.Awesome infrastructure and facilities
Placements: In my department almost everybody got placed in every year, 100percent placements are available. Highest package is 12-17 LPA, lowest is 3 LPA, average is 5LPA. Zoho, TCS, Mindtree, HCL, Prodapt, Virtusa, Cisco, Wipro, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Almost 90 percent of the students got internship in companies such as JP Morgan, Virtusa ,Infosys, Mind happy solutions etc. The top roles offered in my course Data Scientist, Cybersecurity analyst, Database administrator, Web developer, data engineer, project manager etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms: Spacious classrooms. Laboratories: Well-furnished laboratories with good ventilation and lighting. Department library: A library for the department. Computing lab: A lab with 379 workstations and 7 servers, with all the required software and peripherals. Internet: Free high-speed internet facility. Security: Juniper SSG300 Firewall to provide security for the systems. Food is very good in hostel provide varieties of food everyday. Nonveg is also provided. Ice cream is provided during Sunday's. In special days during events also special lunch is provided. Facilities are very good in hostel no need to worry about that and is very helpful for sports loving students all the competitions related sports are held and they support very well. Some say the semester exams at Sri Sairam Engineering College are not too difficult, but require preparation to pass.
Faculty: The semester exams at Sri Sairam Engineering College are not too difficult, but require preparation to pass. The college has also topped the semester pass-percentage rank list issued by Anna University. Faculty and teaching is very helpful and coaching is very well done here.
Other: Soli singing ,rangoli, dance competition and many clubs and cells activities are held. For language they teach Japanese and German which is paid.

Promising Course with Good Infrastructure, But Needs Experienced Faculty and Better Opportunities.
Placements: In our course, approximately 60% of the students secure placements. The highest package offered is 12 LPA, while the lowest package offered through the placement cell is 3 LPA. Prominent recruiters include Zoho, JP Morgan, and Accenture. Many students independently secure internships through online and offline searches. The most commonly offered role in our course is that of a Software Developer.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are generally good. However, the opportunities for all students to utilize these facilities are average. The library is well-maintained, and the lab for our course is also good, though it lacks Wi-Fi, and the internet speed in the lab is very low, at about 500 Mbps for a single serve lab. The classrooms are good. I am not a hostel student, but I have heard that the hostels are also well-maintained, and the food in the canteen is average. Medical facilities are good, but sports and games opportunities are limited.
Faculty: In our course, the teachers are relatively new to this domain. They possess basic knowledge but lack in-depth expertise necessary for resolving complex doubts. We often rely on self-study as the provided notes are not adequate. Despite this, most teachers encourage students to gain exposure in various areas. The syllabus is well-structured, enabling us to learn the fundamentals, though some subjects are irrelevant and difficult to study due to the teacher's lack of familiarity with them. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage in our course is about 80%. .
Other: I chose this course because it has significant potential for the future and is a new and intriguing field of study. It would be beneficial to have well-knowledgeable teachers and better access to the facilities available in the college. Additionally, organizing various non-technical events and allowing us to participate in events at other colleges would greatly enhance our educational experience.
