Students who find happiness in little things can join this college.
Placements: In civil engineering, we got various companies related to IT. Packages start from 4.5 LPA to 8 LPA. We got Accenture, Mindtree, TCS, HCL, L&T, and Zoro companies. Most of the students went for training as interns at these companies. A few are getting stipends of 20 to 30k.
Infrastructure:
Our college infrastructure is so clean and fresh. There are many staff members assigned to the cleaning department; especially, washrooms are maintained well. The water facility is good in the hostel. Wi-Fi is available 24/7; we get disturbances only when the weather conditions are not good. The library is the most peaceful spot in our college.
Faculty:
Our Civil Engineering department teachers are so friendly with us. They are well-qualified; a few have doctorates, and a few are going to obtain them. They help us with projects and guide us and encourage us to participate in competitions. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are quite tough, as the papers come from Anna University, but if we know the concepts, we can pass, as the pass percentage is 50.
Other:
I chose this course as I am interested in the construction and designing field. We wish our course would get more exposure related to practical knowledge and work. There are no fests as students expect, but we have a symposium every year in which we can invite students from other colleges to participate, and we can conduct various events in it, which are decent.

In terms of placements, it is okay, but not for the more skilled people, & the faculty is also mode.
Placements: 80% take my course, and the remaining will take mechanical, IT, civil, and other departments. The highest package is 10 lakhs, the average is 6 lakhs, and the lowest is 3 lakhs, which is a very low salary for the people who are more skilled. Only 10 to 20% get the Associate Software Engineer role.
Infrastructure: The facilities are okay, and the infrastructure is also similar. Every department is different, and resources vary for each of them. The food is nice, but the sports and games facilities are lacking, with very few sports events held yearly, and they don't provide time for practice.
Faculty: The teachers are okay, but they don't know much. We need to study all for the semester exams, and they only tell us which questions to study, so we focus on that alone. It's worse than expected. The semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is 90%, which is increasing year by year.
Other: I chose CSE because many companies recruit CSE domain students. The staff in our college do not organize any fests or events.

The remaining 55% of students are not placed in our college. 13 Lakhs per annum is the highest, 3 Lakhs per annum is the lowest, and 4.5 Lakhs per annum is the average package offered in our college. TCS and TATA ELXSI are the top recruiting companies in our college. 20% of the students got internships in our college. Graduate trainee and trainee are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: In our classrooms, we have projectors, and the infrastructure is good. The classrooms are good, and the labs are not okay. The library is very good. In our hostels, the quality of food is excellent. The hostels are good and very hygienic. It is a good environment in hostels, and the mess quality is also good.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching is okay. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. The difficulty is moderate, and the pass percentage is 50%. The faculty teaching increases students' percentage, so it is good. The teaching is okay.

Placements: R. M. K. Engineering College's placement was excellent in 2021, with 100% of all students placed in the civil engineering department. Our batch students were placed in well-reputed companies like Reliance Construction, Birla Groups, Tata Groups, Infosys, IBM, etc. The highest salary package was 8.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: R. M. K. Engineering College provides good classrooms with air conditioning facilities. There are more civil-related laboratories in this college. The college offers a free Wi-Fi network, and library facilities are also available. The canteen food tastes very good, with a variety of options available, while the hostel food tastes very average. Basketball ground facilities are also present in this college.
Faculty: The college teachers conduct more lectures every week; they motivate all students and are very friendly. They clear students' doubts at any time. The teachers arrange industry visits and tour programs every semester. In 2021, 98% of students passed all exams.
Other: R. M. K. Engineering College is one of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. My brother is also an alumnus of this college, and he recommended it to me, which is why I joined.
