It is a good and well-maintained college, but it can be even better.
Placements: Only 37% of students in our course got placed. Only Sanmar Shipping visited our college for placements. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The college does not provide an internship in our college, and I think they are working on it. Students in our batch are working tirelessly to get placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good compared to other colleges. The college provides a Wi-Fi facility. Labs and other things are well-maintained. Quality of food served to the students is good, but it is pure vegetarian which is the drawback.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They are well-qualified. Some are highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is good, and it also helps in various industrial purposes. It improves the quality and ability of students.
Other: I have chosen this course because to earn more money.

Placements in our college are good.
Placements: The college has a placement cell. It is useful, but the companies of expected quality did not visit the campus for us or our senior batch. Most of the shipping companies like Sunmark, Mol, etc., visited our college for placements. They recruit only those students having no arrears and some certain English knowledge. Overall, only 8 or 10 students got placed in those companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. Mainly, rainwater harvesting facilities are available in our college. Lab facilities for all courses are available with costly equipment. Students of each department have a separate hostel block with Wi-Fi facilities. Two large playgrounds and four canteens are available. Food available in those canteens is really good. Every classroom has a projector for teaching which provides an easy understanding of students. We have two auditoriums for conducting cultural events. Overall, the infrastructure of our college is really awesome.
Faculty: The staff in our college are experienced. They have good knowledge about the course. They all worked as chief engineers in a ship for 3 to 4 years, and they all have field experience. They use the projector to teach for the easy understanding fo the students. They speak only in English, but for easy understanding, they speak in Tamil also. They are friendly with the students.
Other: Our college provides many scholarships for the students of different categories.

It is the best college, with good faculty.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in my batch. The highest package offered is nearly 1,350 dollars per month, and the average package is 1,000 dollars, and the lowest package maybe around 700-800 dollars. Companies like Sanmar Synergy and Arus keep taking our college students. Internships are offered by college itself. We have done our internships in Cochin Naval Base, Kerala.
Infrastructure: My department has a highly facilitated lab with high-tech equipment and well-trained staff to guide us. The hostel creates a good environment to study and play. The quality of food is very good, but only vegetarian food is provided, and non-veg food is neither cooked nor allowed. The canteen, medical facilities, sports and games are like adding a stone in the crown.
Faculty: Well-educated, trained and dedicated faculty members are available. It has a well-organised committee. The head of the department is a very energetic and dedicated person. The teaching quality gives you a high-tech university feel. You can learn more, grab more and explore more. The curriculum and hands-on training will give you confidence to work on a ship.
Other: I want to explore the whole world. That's the reason behind choosing this course. If more practical classes are held, it would be better. You can bring yourself out by making yourself involved in all inter as well as intra-cultural and other competitions.

This college is good for placements and training as well.
Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 1 lac per month, whereas the lowest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Only Sanmor company has been visiting our college for the past 6 years for placements. I don't know exactly about top roles offered in our course, but they send us to Cochin Shipyard for training for 6 months in 6th semester.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in our college and hostel, and the classrooms have smart class facilities. There is a library, and there is a Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. In the mess, only vegetarian food is served, and the food is good to eat. There are medical facilities near to the hostel only, and sports and games are always available. All types of indoor games and outdoor sports like cricket, volleyball, football, basketball are available here.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members always prepare before conducting classes for us, so it would be easy and understandable. All classes are conducted for us. The course curriculum is relevant, and it would be helpful for us and easy to understand what they would like to teach.
Other: I have chosen this course to get more salary. Our course should be better. Events, fests and extracurricular activities are organised here. Scholarships are also available.
