Abnormal placement offers at VAST.
Placements: In mechanical engineering there is less placement because companies are looking for programming developers and they need coders. But mechanical branch has a chance to get into placements. Infosys, TCS ( Tata consultancy services) etc. For mechanical engineering there is less placement compared to other companies.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of wide range of facilities for the students those are studying in Vidya Academy Of Science And Technology. Mainly when we joined the college they will include us in a erp so that things made simpler. There is Wi-Fi facility for the staffs only. Average Canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are really very helpful to the students those are studying at Vast. They are well qualified and most of the teachers have researched in various subjects. High level teaching quality. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant because it makes the students ready to work at a industry.
Other: Practical side should be developed because only practice will make a student perfect.

I liked the facilities in this college.
Placements: Overall, placements are very good in our college. About 25% of students from each course get placements every year. Top companies visit our campus for recruiting. Internships are offered by various companies.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure and accessibility from various parts of the city. The college has a well-designed administrative block and various other rooms. It also has facilities for students such as girls' common room and boys' common room, waiting room, co-operative store, etc. It has provided well-equipped and furnished labs. There are separate labs for basic science and other departmental laboratories as per the norms of AICTE and the university. Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated.
Faculty: This college has excellent teaching faculty members who are highly qualified and well-experienced. The teacher-student ratio is maintained at 1:10. All teachers work full time and students are given special attention in their studies. Excellent results in the university examination are due to dedicated and constant efforts by staff members. The teaching aids used by the staff members are modern and help students to learn the subject thoroughly.
Other: Parent's teacher's meeting is held periodically after each internal test and students' performance is furnished to parents directly.

It is the best private engineering college in Thrissur.
Placements: Placements are mainly in IT firms and non-core mechanical companies like popular automobiles and in companies providing software solutions like CAD centres. The major recruiter was TCS, with a salary package of around 2.5 LPA. There was a lack of placements in the core field.
Infrastructure: Hostels and lab facilities were up to the mark and one of the best at the time. We have fluid mechanics, and thermal labs had ample equipment and experienced trainers. Labs were always worth the while. The basic mechanical workshops were also provided worthwhile hands-on experience.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. Faculty members were always open to help and guide students in academic and non-academic activities. Calicut University curriculum had its shortcomings. Introduction of KTU has solved this to an extent.

A college for a good campus life and memories.
Placements: The placements in core companies are nil, but they do have IT companies coming for recruiting. The biggest company that makes mass recruitment is TCS. Other companies like Bosch and Inoclad also started recruiting. Amazon India also recruited students. Overall, the placement scenario is improving.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with good Wi-Fi access and library facilities. The departmental libraries are also equally good along with the central library. The canteen and cafeteria are good with a different selection of food, beverages, and snacks. The classrooms and labs are completely furnished and equipped with sufficient apparatuses.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. The curriculum is according to the APJKTU University. The curriculum is really competitive and increases the knowledge of the students through hands-on training on different machines.
Other: Tech fests and cultural fests are really good and are given great importance by the college management and students equally.

Good private college along with good faculty members.
Placements: The placement is relatively good. The placement for mechanical branch alone is nil. Mostly IT service companies come for placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Bosch, Inoclad etc. Are some of the mass recruiters. More than 50% of the students were placed directly to these companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are spacious and properly furnished. Medical facilities are also good, Doctor is available on alternate days. The sports facilities are also good. Sports like cricket and football are encouraged a lot.
Faculty: The faculty members are really good. They are really experienced and knowledgeable about the subjects they take. Doubts are cleared immediately by them. The curriculum the college follows is by the APJKTU. The curriculum actually AIMS at improving not only the academics but also the all round development of the student.
Other: Events like Tech fests, Cultural Fests are annually conducted in the college.
