A perfect engineering college.

Placements: Placements at VIT Pune are very good and the college makes sure that we become placement ready. In the current year, the highest package for computer engineering is 51 LPA and average is 10.64 LPA, which is very good. Many big recruiting companies like Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Nvidia, Mercedez Benz, etc. visit here.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in VIT are nice. We get strong Wi-Fi, classrooms and the library is big. Canteen's food is also very good and affordable. VIT's hostels are also of good quality. There are various sports opportunities for students. Labs are also well maintained.

Faculty: Faculties in VIT are very understanding and helpful towards students. They have very much experience of teaching and have very good understanding of their respective subjects. The curriculum is designed in a way that students are able to learn not only theory, but also become industry ready.

Other: VIT has one of the biggest events and fests.

Good college, good faculty and good curriculum.

Placements: Placements are good here. Recently, Microsoft offered jobs to 35 VIT students with an average salary of 30 LPA. The highest salary offered was 55 LPA, and the average salary was 12–13 LPA. Students also get good internships.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good, and the staff is supportive. The infrastructure is average, but it is a good college. Once we come and adapt to campus life, we won't even think about the infrastructure. This year, they renovated the labs and added new desktops and tables. The classrooms and library are also good. The only problem is with the WiFi in the classrooms.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The exams are not difficult because the faculty teach the material thoroughly. The pass percentage is around 9.2.

Other: They have a lot of events, like Vishusav and Vishkarandak. The college also has good connectivity with Indian and foreign companies, which makes it easy to get a job after graduation. In addition, VIT offers scholarships to students who excel in academics and other areas.

I am satisfied with college facilities and placements.

Placements: In my course, 85% to 90% of students were placed in 2024. The highest salary package was 51 lakhs per annum with an average package of 8.5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package was around 3 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Siemens, TCS, Microsoft, and IBM.

Infrastructure: The college has wifi, labs that are very good and clean, and teachers who pay attention to each and every student during lab. There is also a library on campus. The hostel has limited seats, but the canteen has decent food, and there are sports and games clubs on campus.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable about their subjects. They explain the material very well. However, I personally had difficulty understanding some of the teachers. I think this is a matter of personal preference. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the workplace.

Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Artificial Intelligence. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the workplace. However, I think the course could be improved by making it more hands-on and interactive. The campus is small, but the events are awesome.
