IITs Cutoff 2023 for Aerospace Engineering

The IITs 2023 cutoff for BTech Aerospace Engineering indicated the minimum ranks necessary to increase the likelihood of admission. The opening and closing ranks for BTech Aerospace Engineering admissions for IITs is also provided in the BTech cutoff.

Q:   Can I get NIT with 95 percentile in JEE Main?

A:
It is possible for you to secure a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology), although it may not guarantee your preferred branch or institute. If your percentile is above 96%, your chances of getting into a respectable NIT increase, but you may need to compromise on your branch selection. However, if you aim for a decent NIT with a preferred branch in the core field, you would need to score above 97.5%. On the other hand, if your goal is to get admission to a top college with the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) branch, your score would need to be higher than 99.4%.

Factors Determining IITs Cutoff 2023 for Aerospace Engineering

The factors that contribute to the determination of the IITs cutoff 2023 for BTech Aerospace Engineering include:

  • Previous years' cutoff trends: The authorities took into account the cutoff trends from previous years to assess the competitiveness of the programme and make appropriate adjustments.
  • Difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2023: The complexity and difficulty level of the JEE Advanced 2023 examination influenced the cutoff. If the exam is more challenging, it may result in a higher cutoff.
  • Total number of candidates: The total number of candidates who appeared for the entrance examination was considered. Higher competition among a larger pool of candidates lead to a higher cutoff.
  • Number of applicants for Aerospace Engineering: The number of applicants specifically for Aerospace Engineering in each institute also impacted the cutoff. Higher demand for the program resulted in a higher cutoff.

JoSAA 2023 Aerospace Engineering Cutoff for IITs

The cutoff of IITs for BTech served as a crucial screening process. It should be noted that the cutoff for IIT Aerospace Engineering varied across institutes, categories, and genders. During the preparation of the cutoff, the authorities took into account several factors related to JEE Advanced and the specific institute, including the number of available seats and previous cutoff trends. For more comprehensive information on the IITs cutoff for BTech Aerospace Engineering, please refer to the table below.

To get a government engineering college in Punjab through JoSAA, aim for a JEE Mains rank within 10,000–30,000 for top colleges like PEC and NIT Jalandhar. Rankings of 70,000 or higher may be adequate for state quotas or lower-tier universities, depending on the branch and category.
