BITSAT 2025 counselling details will be available online soon at bitsadmission.com. Qualified candidates will have to participate in the BITSAT counselling 2025 process for admission into the courses offered by the participating institutes. During the BITSAT counselling, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee online i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Candidates will also have to submit their 12th standard qualifying examination marks and selection of programmes in the order of preference. BITSAT 2025 seat allotment results will be declared in the form of iterations. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's BITSAT rank, preferences, category and seat availability. In case the candidates are not satisfied with their BITSAT seat allotment, then they can choose to forgo their seats and remain on the wait list. Candidates who are on the wait list can participate in the next round of BITSAT counselling to have a chance of being allotted into their preferred course and campus. In case there are vacant seats, the candidates will have the chance of being allotted into their preferences. Steps to Fill BITSAT 2025 Counselling Application Form

BITSAT 2025 counselling will be held online. Candidates can follow the given steps to participate in the counselling of BITSAT 2025. 

Step 1: Registration

First, the candidates will have to visit bitsadmission.com and register for the BITSAT 2025 counselling process. Before BITSAT 2025 counselling registration, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. 

Step 2: Filling out the counselling form

After registration, the candidates will have to log in and fill out the required details. All of the details submitted have to be valid and as per the documents possessed by the candidates. Once the information is submitted, the authorities will not accept requests to make corrections.

Step 3: 12th standard qualification marks

After filling out their details, the candidates will have to submit their 12th standard qualification proof. After successfully filling in the required 12th standard qualifying examination information, candidates are advised to take a printout of their duly filled application form and preserve it for future reference. 

Step 4: Submission of preferences

Finally, the candidates will have to select campuses and courses in which they want to secure admission. It is to be noted that the selection of courses and campuses should be done in the order of preference. This is important since the order of preferences will be taken into consideration during the allotment process.

The authorities will also accept offline payment through cash at all ICICI bank branches along with a specially generated pay-in-slip. BITSAT 2025 Seat Allotment

The authorities will announce the BITSAT 2025 seat allotment/iteration result online separately for every round. To access the seat allotment of BITSAT 2025, the candidates can follow the given steps.

  • Visit bitsadmission.com
  • Click on the iteration link
  • Candidates will have to provide their BITSAT 2025 application number and password.
  • Click on ‘Login'.
  • The seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.

Candidates who are shortlisted for admission will have to report at the respective BITS campus. Thereafter, candidates will have to confirm their admission by taking part in the document verification process and then paying their admission fee.

Q:   What are the BITSAT admit list and waitlist?

A:

During the admission process, the authorities will release the BITSAT admit list and wait list online. The official BITSAT admit and wait list will be released as Iterations. BITSAT admit list will consist of the names of the candidates who have cleared the minimum cut off criteria for admission. On the other hand, the BITSAT wait list will consist of the names of all the candidates who will be called in for admission in the next round, in case a candidate withdraws his/her seat.

In the BITSAT counselling, iteration rounds are equivalent to the seat allotment rounds. During every iteration, the authorities will announce the BITSAT seat allotment results for the qualified and registered candidates. BITSAT 2025 Direct Admission to Board Toppers

The authorities will provide direct admissions at the BITS campuses to the top-rank holders of the Central and State board exams. All eligible candidates will have to register for the BITS 2025 direct admission process. No BITSAT score will be required and the candidates will be selected based on their performance in the board exams. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic eligibility criteria i.e., they should have obtained an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% marks in each subject. The result for the BITS 2025 direct admission scheme will be released online.

Q:   I am a class 12th board topper. Do I need to participate in BITSAT counselling or will I be offered direct admission to BITS?

A:

For BITSAT admissions, the top-rank holders in central and state board exams will not be required to participate in the centralized counselling process. They will be offered direct admission in courses offered at BITS campuses. The minimum eligibility required by the board exam toppers for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the BITS campuses is an aggregate of 75% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology with at least 60% marks in each subject.
