Food engineering is a combination of Science, microbiology, and engineering education for food and related industries. Food engineering includes the application of agricultural engineering and chemical engineering principles to food materials.

The prospective major employers for food engineers include companies involved in food processing, food machinery, packaging, ingredient manufacturing, instrumentation and control. Hello candidate, there is no such requirement of 75% marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Mains. The eligibility criteria of minimum 75% marks in class 12 is required at the time of admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Yes, CUET PG is conducted for postgraduate course in the field of Food Technology can apply through CUET PG entrance examination.
