JEE Main cutoff are of two types- qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The qualifying cut-off of JEE Main 2024 comprises of the minimum score that JEE Main 2024 aspirants need to secure to be eligible for JEE Advanced. The admission cutoff of JEE Main 2024 are the opening and closing ranks for each institute and is released by JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024 candidates must secure more than or equal to the category-wise cutoff of JEE Main 2024. Only those candidates who meet JEE Main qualifying cutoffs will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced for admission to IITs in India. Candidates must secure minimum ranks (closing ranks) for admission to JEE Main participating institutes. Admission cutoffs for all the participating institutes will also be released after each round of JoSAA Counselling.
