SBI Clerk Application Form 2024-25: The State Bank of India (SBI) released SBI Clerk 2024-25 application form for a total of 13735 regular vacancies. The last date to fill the application form is January 7, 2025. SBI Clerk application form 2024-25 for the special recruitment drive was released on December 7, 2024. The last date to fill the application form is December 27, 2024. The application form was released after the SBI Clerk Notification 2024 was published. Through SBI Clerk 2024-25 exam, candidates will be recruited to the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). Step 2: Uploading Photograph and Signature

  • Upload scanned images of photograph and signature after completing the registration
  • Specifications for scanning the photograph and signature are provided below

Q:   How many SBI Clerk exam centres can I choose?

A:

You can choose one SBI Clerk exam centre each for preliminary and Mains exams. The details regarding the exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are allotted exam centres as per their preferences. The examination authority reserves the right to allot exam centres to candidates. The exam centre once chosen by candidates cannot be changed. The centres are allotted as per the preferences by candidates. However, in case of unavailability of exam centres, candidates are allotted to the next available centre. The prelims and mains exams of SBI Clerk is conducted at around 200 cities. The steps to select the exam centres are given below:

  • Visit the official website of SBI
  • From the career page of SBI, go to the advertisement ‘Recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support) and sales’
  • Click on the ‘SBI Clerk Apply Online’ link
  • Candidates need to first complete the registration process
  • With the generated registration ID and password, candidates can fill the detailed application form wherein they can choose one exam city each for the prelims and mains exams
  • After selecting the exam centres, candidates can save the selection
  • Exam centres are allotted to candidates based on their preferences

Q:   Who all are not eligible for SBI Clerk exam?

A:

Candidates against whom there is/ are adverse report regarding character & antecedents, moral turpitude etc. are not eligible to apply for the post. Candidates who have defaulted in repayment under any lending arrangement with Banks or NBFCs including credit card dues and have not regularized / repaid their outstanding thereunder till the date of issuance of letter of offer of appointment by the Bank, are not eligible for appointment to the post. However, candidates who have regularised/repaid such outstanding on or before the date of issuance of offer of appointment but whose CIBIL status has not been updated till then on or before the date of joining, have to either get the CIBIL status updated or produce the NOCs from the lender to the effect that there is no outstanding with respect to the accounts adversely reflected in the CIBIL, failing which the letter of offer shall be withdrawn/ cancelled.

Q:   What is SBI Clerk eligibility criteria?

A:

To be eligible for SBI Clerk exam, candidates should be between 20 and 28 years and have completed graduation in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam provisionally. Relaxation in the upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. Candidates should check the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The category-wise relaxation given to candidates is given below.

Q:   I am working in SBI. Can I apply for SBI Clerk exam?

A:

Candidates who are working in SBI in the Clerical cadre are not eligible to apply under this project. Candidates who were earlier employed in State Bank of India and resigned from the Bank while in clerical cadre will also be not eligible to apply for the post. Only online applications are accepted for the exam.
