SBI Clerk Exam Date 2025: State Bank of India (SBI) announced SBI Clerk 2025 exam dates. The prelims exam of SBI Clerk 2025 will be conducted in February 2025. The mains exam will be conducted in March/April 2025. The link to fill SBI Clerk application form 2025 was available from December 17, 2024 to January 7, 2025. SBI Clerk notification 2025 was released on December 16, 2024. 

Earlier, SBI Clerk notification 2025 was released for special drive for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) for Ladakh UT including Leh & Kargil Valley (Chandigarh Circle). A total of 50 vacancies were announced for the exam. SBI Clerk application form 2025 was available from December 7 to 27, 2024. The prelims exam will be conducted in January 2025 and the mains exam will be held in February 2025.

Q:   What is SBI Clerk Eligibility?

SBI Clerk criteria:- A candidate who is aspiring to apply for the SBI Clerk exam must be an Indian citizen. Candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements to apply for the SBI Clerk Prelims examination. 1.Prospective candidates must have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. They must make sure the passing certificate shows the date the relevant degree was earned. 2.Candidates who have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing of the IDD is as per the guidelines given in the notification. 3.Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination  4.As per the SBI Clerk qualification criteria, the candidates need to mandatorily indicate the percentage theyve obtained in the Graduation degree and calculate it to the nearest two decimals in the online application form. 5.For Matriculate Ex-servicemen, prospective applicants should have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union. Age limit:- Not below 20 years and not above 28 years i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). The details regarding the age limit and the relaxation in upper age are clearly given in the official notification. Candidates must go through the notification in detail and check the eligibility criteria. Relaxation is given to the various categories for the SBI Clerk exam. SC/ST - 5yeras OBC 3 years PWD (Gen/EWS) 10 years PWD(ST/ST) 15 years PWS(OBC) 13 years Ex-Servicemen/ Disabled Ex-Servicemen - The actual period of service rendered in defense services + 3 years, (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to max. age of 50 years Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried - 7 years (subject to maximum age limit of 35 years for General/ EWS, 38 years for OBC & 40 years for SC/ST candidates) Note: 1.Candidates who seek age relaxation are required to submit copies of the necessary certificate at the time of admission.

SBI Clerk Exam

SBI Clerk exam comprises a preliminary exam, mains exam, and local language test. The preliminary exam comprises English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks of the prelims exam are 100. According to SBI Clerk exam pattern, the total duration of the test is one hour. The mains exam comprises General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The total marks for the mains exam are 200. SBI Clerk Result Date

SBI Clerk result is announced online separately for the prelims and mains exams. To check the SBI Clerk result, candidates need to enter registration number/roll number, date of birth and password. Selection of candidates for the mains exam has been done 10 times the number of vacancies. The marks of the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The total training duration of an SBI Clerk is six months. The probationary period for SBI clerks begins with induction training at the State Bank Institute of Learning and Development. A:
You cannot become a probationary officer (PO) through promotions. However, after three or six years of service as an SBI Clerk you can become an officer. From the clerk position, you have two options for becoming an officer at SBI: 1. You are eligible to join the SBI as a trainee officer (TO) following three years of service. You need to have both JAIIB and CAIIB certifications. After that, you'll need to pass an internal exam that consists of a written test, an interview, and a group discussion. 2. You can advance to the JMGS Scale 1 officer position in the SBI after serving as a clerk for six years. You must also pass an internal exam for this position, but it is much simpler than the TO exam.
