The State Bank of India conducts recruitment annually, and aspirants are looking forward to the SBI exams for SO, PO and Clerk. Being the largest public sector bank in India, State Bank of India recruits new resources through the following SBI bank exams every year: SBI Exams are conducted by the State Bank of India to hire eligible candidates for various posts like: SBI Probationary Officer (PO) SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) SBI Specialist Cadre Officer (SCO/ SO) The SBI Clerk Notification is for Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) released by State Bank of India. SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) Eligibility Criteria : The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk exam is mainly about two pre-requisites: Educational Qualifications: He/she must hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Q:   What is SBI Clerk Eligibility?

SBI Clerk criteria:- A candidate who is aspiring to apply for the SBI Clerk exam must be an Indian citizen. Candidates must fulfill the following educational requirements to apply for the SBI Clerk Prelims examination. 1.Prospective candidates must have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Central Government. They must make sure the passing certificate shows the date the relevant degree was earned. 2.Candidates who have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing of the IDD is as per the guidelines given in the notification. 3.Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination  4.As per the SBI Clerk qualification criteria, the candidates need to mandatorily indicate the percentage theyve obtained in the Graduation degree and calculate it to the nearest two decimals in the online application form. 5.For Matriculate Ex-servicemen, prospective applicants should have obtained the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy or Air Force, after completing at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union. Age limit:- Not below 20 years and not above 28 years i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2002 (both days inclusive). The details regarding the age limit and the relaxation in upper age are clearly given in the official notification. SBI Clerk 2024 application form is made available online. The application fee is INR 750 for the General and OBC categories. However, SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS candidates are exempted from paying the application fees. Candidates can edit the SBI Clerk application form within the registration deadline. SBI Clerk exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims and mains exams. The prelims exam consists of three sections-English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes with sectional timings. The candidate has to log in using his/her User ID and Password which is provided on the SBI Clerk admit card After logging in the Candidate's profile (Name, Roll No. & photograph etc. ) will be displayed and the candidate has to confirm the same by clicked on the I confirm button confirming the profile is correct Thereafter the instructions will be displayed on the screen A candidate should read the instructions carefully and indicate that he has done so by checking (click) the box at the bottom of the screen, after which the I am ready to begin button is activated After clicking on the I am ready to begin button the actual test time will begin In Online Preliminary Examination, there will be 100 Questions and in Online Main Examination there will be 190 Questions and each question is followed by 5 alternatives/options The questions except those on English . SBI Clerk Selection Process 2024

The selection process consists of online tests (preliminary and mains exam) and tests of specified opted local language. On the basis of the preliminary exam, 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam. According to SBI Clerk selection process, Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, five per cent relaxation is available thereon). The merit list is drawn state-wise and category-wise.

Candidates qualified in the mains exam are placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective states and categories. Those who qualify the mains exam are called for local language tests. Subject to qualifying specified opted local language and based on the marks of the mains exam, candidates will be selected for appointment. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not added for the selection.

Q:   How many attempts are there in SBI Clerk exam?

A:
There is no limit to the number of attempts in SBI Clerk exam. Candidates can apply for the exam as per the prescribed age limit. The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the government rules. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificates can also apply for the SBI Clerk exam. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation. The date of passing the eligibility examination is the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

The total training duration of an SBI Clerk is six months. The probationary period for SBI clerks begins with induction training at the State Bank Institute of Learning and Development. This period lasts for one to two weeks at the state branch where they are posted. Later, trainees are assigned to their respective branches, where they undergo practical training for the banking process. This period lasts around five months, after which they work as junior associates in their respective branches. If associates are unable to successfully complete their training, their training period will be extended.
