Full-Time MTech Courses

One of the most popular degrees among research enthusiasts who want to engage in the field of technical research is MTech or Master of Technology. After completing a BTech or BE, it is possible to follow a 2-year postgraduate degree with four semesters.

MTech is available as a full-time or part-time programme. Master of Technology degrees is available in a variety of specialties, including Artificial Intelligence, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering.

Candidates with an MTech degree have a variety of job prospects in top industries such as IT, banking, and real estate.

MTech Part-Time

Working Part-Time Working professionals who are unable to attend a traditional Master of Technology course might enroll in the MTech Degree Course. To be admitted to this course, students must have completed a B.Tech degree with a specific cutoff rate.

Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, VLSI, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering are some of the specialties that students can find Part-Time MTech courses in, depending on the college.

The following are the requirements for Part-Time MTech Admission:

  • A BE/BTech degree or equivalent in relevant specialties is required for aspiring students.
  • In order to graduate from a BTech or BE programme, the student must achieve a grade point average of at least 55 percent.
  • Work experience is sometimes required. This varies each college, and sometimes no prior work experience is required.

MTech Distance Learning

M Tech is a two-year post-graduate programme for individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree in technology from a recognized university. Traditional classroom education is replaced by the MTech online learning software. Students in distance learning education take online classes to learn. They are free to teach courses from wherever they wish, at any time. Students will have a deeper grasp of the disciplines they learned throughout their bachelor's degree through the distance M Tech programme.

Distance Admission to MTech in 2022

  • Because MTech is a technological subject, delivering it via distance learning is particularly difficult.
  • A Master of Technology degree earned on campus is usually preferred. IGNOU is the most well-known distance-learning institution for MTech programmes.
  • Depending on the university, entry to the distance MTech programme is based on a merit list or an entrance exam.
  • Distance education colleges always have a lower average cost of attendance.
  • Suitable for students who are unable to complete the course full-time.
  • The study materials are either mailed to the contact address or made available online.
