SNAP 2020 result has been announced for the exams held on December 20, January 6 and Janaury 9. Read all about SNAP 2020 exam here.

SNAP National Aptitude (online) Test or SNAP is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its participating institutes. SNAP exam is conducted in the month of December at multiple exam centres in over 90 cities across India. The mode of examination is online and the SNAP question paper will have questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Skills.

SNAP 2020 exam was conducted on December 20, 2020, January 6, 2021 and January 9, 2021. The exam was held form 11 AM to 12 PM on all three days and the question paper was easy. SNAP 2020 result was announced on January 21 late night.

SNAP 2020 registrations began on September 24 and concluded on November 30. Following the COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines for public places, the exam authority conducted SNAP 2020 thrice. The candidates could two attempts and the score of best of the two will be considered for admission.

SNAP result 2020 will be declared on January 22 on the official website. The candidates would be able to download their scorecards by using their login ID and password. SNAP Selection Process

After the declaration of SNAP 2020 result, the participating institutes will begin the admission process. The admission process will include Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).

Minimum cut off will be fixed by the institutes individually for shortlisting of candidates for GE/PI/WAT. Those who meet the SNAP cut off will be invited to participate in GE/PI/WAT. The final selection is based on each candidate’s academic record and performance in SNAP, GE/PI/WAT.

SNAP 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have completed Bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent from recognized university or institute
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply for SNAP, but their admission will remain provisional until submission of the passing certificate 
  • International student or those who have graduated from an international university will be required to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

SNAP Exam Pattern 2020

SNAP exam pattern witnessed a major change in 2019. The general awareness section was scrapped and the marking scheme was altered. In 2020, the SNAP exam pattern has been revised once again. This year, no section has been scrapped, but the duration of exam and total number of questions have been reduced.

According to the latest SNAP exam pattern the question paper will have three section: General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. Differential marking and Special Questions have been done away with. SNAP Pattern and Marking Scheme: Highlights

  • There will be no Special Questions in the SNAP question paper this year
  • All the questions will be Normal Questions (MCQ format)
  • Each question will carry one mark
  • For each wrong answer, 25 per cent marks will be deducted

SNAP Registration 2020

SNAP 2020 registrations process is from September 24 to November 28. The candidates will be required to register on the official website of SNAP and fill an online application form to be able to appear in the entrance test. The requisite SNAP application fee is to be paid online through internet banking or credit/debit cards or offline through demand draft. Given below are the steps of SNAP registration cum application process.

  • Open the SNAP 2020 website in a new window or click here
  • Click on Apply Now and register as New User
  • Enter name, phone number, email ID and other details
  • An OTP will be sent to your mobile number for email verification
  • Enter OTP and verify your e-mail ID
  • Make payment of application fees
  • Move to SNAP application form
  • Enter relevant details in the form
  • Select desired PG courses and institutes
  • Make fee payment of Rs 1,750 for the course
  • Click on save/submit button to complete the process

A: In SNAP exam, both MCQ and non-MCQ type questions are asked. However, in SNAP 2020 only MCQ type questions will be asked. 

Q: What is the marks relaxation of SC/ST candidates in SNAP?

A: The SC/ST candidates get 5 per cent marks relaxation in the eligibility criteria for SNAP. While General category students need to have scored at least 50 per cent aggregate in graduation, SC/ST candidates with 45 per cent are eligible to apply.
