SNAP 2024 exam – Symbiosis International (deemed) University or SIU conducts a common entrance exam for admission to MB/PGDM courses. The SNAP exam is held in computer based test mode at various cities across India. Candidates get the option to appear for SNAP Test, thrice in one academic session and scores of the best attempt are considered for admission. SNAP 2024 will be held on three days. The first test was held on December 8, 2024 and second test was held on December 15, 2024. SNAP 2024 Test 1 was of low difficulty level, but Test 2 was of high difficulty level.

Q: What is the syllabus and exam pattern of SNAP?
Q: What is the marking scheme of SNAP exam?
SNAP exam has 60 MCQs and every question carries 2 mark. Earlier, there was differential marking in SNAP exam, but in 2020 the marking scheme was revised and every question across sections was allotted 1 mark. You can read the SNAP marking scheme given below:
- SNAP has 60 questions
- Total marks of SNAP exam is 60
- Each question carries 1 mark for correct attempt
- For every wrong attempt, 1/4th marks are deducted
- The General English section is of 15 marks
- The Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section is of 20 marks
- The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section is of 25 marks
- There is no deduction of marks for skipping the question
Candidates scoring 45-50 out of 60 can hope for getting a good percentile.

SNAP Admit Card 2024
Separate SNAP admit card 2024 can be downloaded from the offiical website only. Candidates will have to download and carry the SNAP Test specific admit card. Here’s a brief description of SNAP admit card download process:
- Log on to the official website of SNAP
- Click on the ‘Admit Card for SNAP Test’ tab on the homepage
- Enter SNAP ID and password
- SNAP admit card will appear on the screen
- Download it and take a printout of the same
SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Candidates should have completed graduation with minimum 50 % aggregate (45 % for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent from a recognised university or institute
- Final year graduation students are also eligible for SNAP 2024 but they will have to submit the final year marksheet within the given time frame. Till then, their admission will remain provisional.
- International students, with graduation degree from an international university, can apply for SNAP Test after obtaining certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Q: Is there a provision of marks revaluation in SNAP?
No, there is no provision of rechecking or revaluation in SNAP. Candidates get three attempts in SNAP to improve their score in a single academic year. Candidates can attempt the exam three times. However, whether to appear for the exam again or not is the decision to be taken at the time of SNAP form filling only as the option to appear for multiple sessions is mentioned in the application form only. You cannot register for re-test after the SNAP registration window closes.
Best score of all the attempts will be considered for admission. The scores mentioned on the SNAP scorecard are final. If any candidate wishes to improve the score, then they will have to attempt the exam next year again.
SNAP Registration Process 2024
SNAP registration process 2024 is online. Candidates can apply for SNAP exam 2024 on the official website of SNAP Test by creating login ID. Given below is the SNAP registration cum application process 2024:
- Visit the official website: snaptest.org
- Go to “Apply for Symbiosis MBA via SNAP 2024”
- Click on 'Register' option
- Enter personal details, exam sessions and test cities
- Upload scanned passport size photograph
- Make fee payment of INR 2,250
- Fill the remaining fields with valid information
- Pay INR 1,000 per college/course
- Submit the form finally

SNAP Syllabus 2024
SNAP exam syllabus is prescribed by SIU. There about six to seven subjects grouped into three sections. Given below are the topics included in SNAP syllabus 2024:
- Reading Comprehension
- Verbal Reasoning
- Verbal Ability
- Analytical & Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Ability
- Data Interpretation
- Data Sufficiency
Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability sections are clubbed together into one section – General English. There is no Reading Comprehension in SNAP. Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency are clubbed together as a single section. The third section, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, contains only reasoning topics.

SNAP Exam Preparation 2024
Candidates planning to appear for SNAP 2024 exam must start preparing for it at least six months in advance. The difficulty level of SNAP is low, but you will still need about six months to cover all topics.

SNAP result 2024 will be released in the second week of January 2024. The result cum scorecard will be hosted on the SNAP website and candidates will have to login to download. The SNAP 2024 result will have candidate’s sectional and overall scores as well as percentiles. Given below is the SNAP result download process:

- Enter your SNAP ID and password
