- Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree course, irrespective of the discipline, with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent (45 per cent for reserved categories)
- Candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the criteria for local/non-local status as outlined in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974.
- Foreign nationals seeking admission through TG ICET 2026 must meet the general and specific eligibility criteria set by the respective Universities.

Commonly asked questions
The TG ICET exam consists of 200 questions with one mark each. These 200 questions are divided across three sections, namely Analytical Ability with 75 questions, Mathematical Ability with 75 questions, and Communication Ability with 50 questions.
A good score in TSICET can depend on numerous factors. Candidates scoring above 100 marks is considered to have obtained a good score in ICET.
Candidates need to obtain 25 per cent marks in TS ICET exam to qualify for admission process. General catyegory candidates must have 50 marks out of 200 to qualify. Whereas, there is no minimum passing marks required for TS ICET based admissions.

TG ICET Hall Ticket 2026
TGCHE releases the TG ICET 2026 admit card for all the applicants. Candidates need to carry a hard copy of TG ICET admit card on the exam day. Entry of the candidates to the TG ICET exam centre is denied on the exam day if they fail to carry the printed admit card. TG ICET hall ticket will mention details related to the exam and the candidate, including the exam centre address, reporting time, exam date, and more.
TG ICET Paper Key 2026
MGU, Nalgonda, releases the TG ICET 2026 answer keys for all shifts on the official exam website, icet.tgche.ac.in. Candidates are able to check the TS ICET paper keys online in the PDF format. The official website hosts the shift wise answer key for TG ICET exam. Candidates are allowed to raise objections against the Telangana ICET preliminary key.
