IBSAT Selection Process 2024 (Revised): Check Detailed Procedure Here

The admission process through IBSAT exam at ICFAI Business School (IBS) typically involves several steps. Here's a an overview:

1. Fulfill IBSAT Eligibility: Ensure that you meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by IBS to appear for IBSAT, which may include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, a competitive entrance exam score (such as CAT/GMAT/NMAT/IBSAT), and a minimum prescribed percentage in your undergraduate studies.

2. IBS Aptitude Test: Depending on the specific IBS campus you are applying to, you may need to take an entrance exam such as CAT, GMAT, NMAT by GMAC, or IBSAT. Check the specific requirements for the campus you are interested in.

3. Application: Complete the online IBSAT 2024 application form provided by IBS, providing your personal details, academic background, entrance exam scores, and other required information. You may also need to submit essays, recommendation letters, and a resume.

4. IBS Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates are called for a selection process, which includes Micro presentation and  personal interview (PI) rounds. These interactions assess your communication skills, knowledge, leadership potential, and suitability for the MBA program.

5. Final Selection: After evaluating the performance in the selection process, IBS makes the final selection decisions. Successful candidates are then offered admission to the MBA program.

IBSAT 2024 results will be announced soon after the exam is conducted. ICFAI Foundation of Higher Education will conduct IBSAT 2024 exam on December 28 and December 29, 2024. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their IBSAT result online by entering the login credentials. Candidates will be required to enter their IBSAT application number and date of birth to access the IBSAT scorecard. The IBSAT result mentions sthe candidate's details, section wise score and overall scores obtained. Candidates must check the details mentioned on the scorecard carefully. Candidates mjust take the print of the IBSAT scorecard soon after the release. No physical copy of the IBSAT scorecard will be issued seperately to the candidates. 

Candidates will be able to check the IBSAT final result soon after the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds are concluded. The link to check the IBSAT 2024 final results will be activated on the official website of ICFAI Business School tentatively in April 2025. Step 1- Visit the offficial website of ICFAI Business School

Step 2- Click on the tab displaying 'Selection Process Result'

Step 3- Screen will now display the IBSAT login page 

Step 4- Enter the login credentials: 

• Application number 
• Password 

Step 5: Screen will now display the IBSAT 2024 final result for admission 

Step 6: Save and take the print of the same for counselling round. 

IBSAT selection process comprises of two rounds:

1. Micro Presentation: In this round, candidate will have to present on a topic in brief. Candidates will be given three topics and choose any one topic from it. This is done to test the communication skill of candidates.  
2. Personal Interview (PI): Those who have successfully cleared the micro presentation round are called for PI round. This PI round judges your communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT or any other national level entrance exam will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds which will be conducted in February/March 2025. 

IBSAT selection process commences soon after the declaration of results. IBSAT 2024 selection rounds will be held from February 15 to 24, 2025, at IBS Hyderabad. Only candidates who will qualify the IBSAT 2024 or have qualified any of the national level entrance examinations- NMAT by GMAC, CAT, XAT scores are also called for the selection process during the prescribed period. The IBSAT 2024 selection process will consist of micro presentation and personal interview. Te final selection of the candidates will be based on the past academic records and performance of the candidate in micro presentation and personal interview. Candidates must report for the IBS selection process on the given date and time, failing which candidates will not be considered for admission to IBS campuses.

IBSAT final merit list is prepared on considering the following parameters- Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and past academic records and weightage. Check the table below to know the criterias:

Only candidates who will qualify the above criterias, will be offered final admission to MBA/PGDM programme of applied IBS campuses. IBSAT 2024 selection process result will be announced tentatively in April 2025.

IBSAT 2024 scorecard has been released at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates who appeared for the IBSAT exam, scheduled on December 28 and December 29, 2024, can check their results online. To download the IBSAT scorecard, candidates must enter their login credentials on the official website of ICFAI Business School. after loging in, screen will display the IBSAT scorecard. Candidates must note that no physical copy of the IBSAT 2024 scorecard will be issued to the candidates seprerately. Candidates must save and take the print of the IBSAT scorecard online only. 

Candidates who will shortlisted, must appear for the micro presentation/PI rounds on given date and time along with the required documents. Th final selection will be offered on the basis of the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
