TISSNET admit card 2024 will be released at tiss.edu. Registered candidates will be able to download the hall ticket for TISS entrance exam from the official website of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences by using their login credentials created at the time of registration. TISSNET 2024 will be held in last week of February 2024 in CBT mode. Candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of TISSNET 2024 score will be able to appear for Online Assessments(OA).

  • Enter your login credentials
  • Click on the “click here” button on top of the screen

Q:   I have forgotten my password for TISSNET Login. How can I download the TISSNET admit card?

A:
If you have forgotten your TISSNET login password, you can reset it by following these steps: Go to the TISSNET login page and click on the "Forgot Password" link. Enter your registered email address or mobile number. You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) on your registered mobile number or email address. Enter the OTP and click on the "Submit" button. You will be redirected to a page where you can reset your password. Enter your new password and confirm it. Click on the "Submit" button to save your new password. Once you have reset your password, you can log in to your TISSNET account and download your admit card. If you face any issues while resetting your password, you can contact the TISSNET helpline or send an email to the TISSNET helpdesk for assistance.

Q:   How can I correct the details in TISSNET admit card?

A:
Incase of any incorrect information or missing details in the TISSNET admit card, candidates must report at the TISS helpline desk immediately. Candidates can call at TISS CARE: 022 - 2552 5252 or register their complaint by sending an email to admissionsinfo (at)tiss. Edu. The admit card will mention the details like- name of the candidate, registration number, category, date of birth, gender, PWD, programme details, Date of exam, Time, City, Centre address, Declaration and important guidelines for exam centre. Candidates must note that request pertaining to change in exam time and centre will not be entertained under any circumstances. Exam centre once allotted will not be changed. Hence, candidates must enter the exam centre details carefully while filling the TISSNET application form.

Q:   I am unable to download my TISSNET admit card. What should I do?

A:
Incase candidates are not able to download the TISSNET admit card they must retrieve the TISSNET login credentials again by clicking on 'forgot password' tab. Follow the procedure to retrieve the password and re-login with the credentials. Candidates must ensure that they must have registered for the TISSNET exam along with the payment of application fee. Only registered candidates will be able to download the admit card. Candidates should check TISSNET admit card 2024 carefully for the following errors:

  • Name: It should not be misspelt
  • Registration Number: It should be the same as generated at the time of filling TISSNET application form

Q:   How can I check the allotted TISSNET exam centre?

A:
Candidates will be able to check the allotted exam centre upon release of TISSNET admit card. Only candidates who will fill the TISSNET registration form along with the successful application fee payment will be able to download the hall ticket when released. The TISSNET hall ticket is expected to release in the third week of February 2024. Candidates will be able to check the following details on the release of TISSNET 2024 hall tiket: 1. Name of the candidate 2. Registration number 3. Category 4. Location 5. Date of exam 6. Time of exam 7. Exam centre name & address 8. Photograph 9. Signature 10. Instructions related to the exam Candidates must note that the exam centre once allotted, no request for change in TISSNET exam centre will be entertained. Candidates filling the TISSNET application form must carefully enter the exam centre preferences. Candidates must note that the authorities does not activate the window for form correction. Only in case of genuine reasons, the plea to change the examination centre will be entertained. For the same, candidates should reach out to the examination authority or write to them at admission@tiss. Edu. Only registered candidates will be able to download the TISSNET 2024 admit card when released. Admit card will mention the candidate's and alloted exam centre. A:

TISSNET admit card is an important document that has to be carried on the day of examination. Without the TISSNET admit card, candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. 

In case, candidates lose the TISSNET hall ticket before the exam, they must check for the nearby cyber cafe to login and take the print of the TISSNET admit card again. Authorities will not provide the facility of issuing the duplicate TISSNET hall ticket on the day of examination. Candidates are advised to carry the required documents carefully along with the TISSNET admit card.

Documents to carry along with TISSNET Admit Card

Along with TISSNET admit card, candidates are also required to carry the following documents to the TISSNET exam centre:

Aadhar card

College/University ID

Voter ID

Driver's license

Passport

Any other identity proof issued by the Government of India

Passport size photo: Candidates are also advised to carry at least two passport size photographs to the exam centre. It may be noted that the photographs should be the same as uploaded on TISSNET application form.

PwD Certificate: Candidates with physical disability need to carry a PwD certificate at the exam centre. PwD candidates with 40 per cent disability or more will also be given an extra 30 minutes apart from the usual 100 minutes time

Note: Visually impaired candidates are allowed to have a scribe who will assist them to complete the exam. The scribe should be an undergraduate student and must carry a valid identity proof at the time of the exam.

What not to carry to the exam centre

Candidates should not carry the following items to the TISSNET exam centre:

  • Books, notes and loose sheets.
  • Any type of calculator
  • Calculator/digital watch
  • Mathematical / drawing instruments
  • Log tables
  • Map stencils or slide rules

Q:   What happens if I fail to produce the required documents on TISSNET exam day?

A:

If you fail to produce the required documents on TISSNET exam day, Especially TISSNET hall ticket and a valid photo identification document, several consequences may occur:

1. Candidates will be denied from entering the exam centre. Documents are required for verification process conducted by invigilatirs and authorities at the exam centre. 

2. Candidates will miss the chance for appearig in TISSNET exam for the applied academic year.

3. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall; hence, they will loose the registration fe. TISSNET registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. 

4. Candidates will be considered absent

Q:   Can I use digital copy of TISSNET admit card on exam day?

A:

No, candidates cannot use a digital copy of the TISSNET admit card as an alternative to the hard copy of the hall ticket at the exam centre. The TISSNET hall ticket is a crucial document acting as a confirmation of eligibility to appear for the exam. Officials at the TISSNET exam centre will deny entry in case the candidate has forgotten a hard copy of the hall ticket. Along with the TISSNET admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Officials at teh exam centre will verify the details in both documents. In case these details do not match, candidates may face hassles at the TISSNET exam centre. Therefore, candidates must get the discrepancies resolved before they visit the TISSNET exam centre to take the test.

Exam Day Instructions

  • Do not forget to carry TISSNET admit card to the examination centre
  • Reach the examination centre at least one hour before the reporting time
  • Carry a pen/ pencil to the exam centre
  • Sit only on the allocated seat
  • Do not carry mobile phones, calculators or any other gadgets inside the exam hall
  • Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, candidates are advised to wear a mask throughout the duration and carry their personal hand sanitiser (50 ml) and transparent water bottle.

Q:   If I forgot my TISSNET admit card on exam day, can I get duplicate at the exam centre?

A:
TISSNET admit card is an important document that has to be carried physically on the day of examination. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the TISSNET hall ticket. In case candidate forgets to carry the TISSNET admit card at the exam centre, he/she must immediately find a nearby cyber cafe to download the admit card again. Only candidates belonging to the SC/ST category and with an annual family income of less than INR 2.5 Lacs will be provided a travel allowance. Such candidates must check the important guidelines for the GOI candidates. Candidates belonging to other categories will not be provided with travel allowance for TISSNET exam. Candidates must arrange for their own vehicles or mode of transportation to reach the TISSNET exam centre on time. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the given time. Q:   What are the items that I can carry at TISSNET exam centre?

Candidates who will be appearing for the TISSNET exam will be permitted to carry the following items at the exam centre- TISSNET hall ticket, photo ID card and a photograph Carry a pen/pencil since the COVID-19 outbreak candidates must also carry their own water bottle and sanitiser of 100 ml. Candidates must ensure that the water bottle and hand sanitiser bottle must be transparent. Other than the mentioned items no other items will be allowed inside the examination hall.
