The TISSNET cutoff for MA in Human Resource Management for various categories varies every year. The cutoff for TISSNET is released on the basis of number of seats, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, category and difficulty level of the exam. To qualify for the TISSNET 2024 exam candidates are required to meet the cutoff criteria mentioned in the scorecard. The TISSNET 2023 cutoff (previous year) of various categories for MA in HRM programme is as follows:

• General- 63
• Economically Weaker Section- 60
• Scheduled Caste- 54
• Other Backward Class- 58

Candidates who met the above mentioned cutoff criteria could appear for the Online Assessment rounds (Extempore and Online Personal Interview). TISSNET 2024 result will be announced at tiss. Edu. Only candidates who will appear for the TISSNET exam will be able to download the scorecard when released. The download link will be activated tentatively in last week of March 2024. Candidates must download the scorecard before the last date. Candidates will be able to download the TISSNET 2024 scorecard by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 3- Enter the login credentials: Email address, password and captcha.

Step 4- Screen will now display the candidate's application form.

Step 5- Click on the 'view result' tab and check for the details mentioned on the TISSNET scorecard.

Step 6- Candidates must save and take the print of the scorecard for future references.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences, selection process consists of three stages:

1. Appear for the TISS entrance exam.

2. Appear for Online Assessment rounds: Personal Interview and Extempore

 1. Appear for the TISS entrance exam- in the first stage candidates must ensure to fill the application form to appear for the TISS entrance exam. The TISSNET exam is conducted for admission to various PG courses. Candidates must enter the courses that they want to appear for. Candidates are not required to fill out separate forms to apply for different courses. Aspirants must then appear for the entrance exam on mentioned date, time and venue.

2. OA rounds- Based on the scores obtained in the TISSNET, candidates meeting the qualifying cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the Online Assessment rounds. The OA rounds consist of Personal Interview and Extempore rounds. It is conducted for 25-30 minutes for each candidate.

3. Final selection: Based on the candidate's cumulative performance in the TISS entrance exam and OA rounds, the final merit list will be released.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts the TISSNET selection process soon after the declaration of results. The TISSNET admission process for the 2024-25 session will commence in second week of April 2024. Candidates who will appear for the TISSNET exam and qualify the cutoff criteria will be shortlisted for the TISS Online Assessment rounds. The Online Assessment of TISS consists of Personal Interviews and Extempore rounds. To appear for the OA rounds, shortlisted candidates must compulsorily fill the Detail Application Form (DAF) on or before the prescribed last date. On the basis of the applications received, candidates are assigned the date on which they have to appear for the OA rounds. The OA rounds are conducted in online mode via the Zoom application. It is conducted for a duration of 20-30 minutes by the three-panel members. The aim of OA rounds is to assess the candidate's interest in the selected programme. The final selection is then based on the candidate's performance in the TISSNET exam (50%) and Online Assessments (Extempore (20%) and PI (30%). .

TISS offers M.A. In HRM programme which is equivalent to MBA programme offered by other top B-schools. TISSNET cutoff for M.A. In Human Resource Management (HRM) is 63 marks for general category and 60 for EWS category. Previous year the cutoff for M.A. In HRM was 67 for the general category. Candidates are assessed on various skills and on the basis of the composite score in TISSNET exam and Online Assessment performance they are shortlisted for final admissions.
