NEET UG 2017 was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on May 7, 2017. A three-hour pen & paper mode exam, the exam was held in 10 different languages including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali and Assamese.

NEET 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on September 12. The NEET 2021 exam pattern has undergone certain changes. However, the core pattern, i.e. the total duration, number of questions and marking scheme is the same. Hence, preparing for previous years question papers is one of the best ways to prepare for the exam. Even though some NEET 2021 aspirants are of the opinion that with the new pattern, solving previous years' question papers would not be useful. NEET 2017 Exam Pattern

The question paper comprised a total of 180 questions, categorized into three different sections - Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The questions were objective type and carried a total of 720 marks, 4 marks for each question and 1 negative mark for incorrect answers.
