NEET PG 2024 centre: NBE released the list of test cities for NEET PG 2024. The exam was held in 170 test cities this time. NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11, 2024 in computer-based mode. NEET PG 2024 admit card contains details such as name, date of birth, address of NEET PG exam centres 2024 allotted to them, and other exam day guidelines. 

"On account of additional security measures being taken by NBEMS and MoHFW (Govt. of India), this examination shall now be conducted in 185 test cities across the country," the official release said. "The test city and test centre communicated in the admit cards issued earlier for NEET-PG 2024 which was to be held on 23rd June 2024 shall no longer be valid," it further added.

NBE has released the name of cities where NEET PG 2024 exam will be conducted. The exam will be held at 185 cities this time. Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre allotted to them a day before the exam in order to have an idea of the route, distance, and availability of transport. How to Select NEET PG Exam Centre 2024?

Applicants can read the steps on how to select the NEET PG 2024 exam centre choice mentioned below, candidates are advised to go through the same.

  • Applicants have to decide their preference for the exam city for NEET PG 2024 priority wise while filling the application form
  • After completing all the steps such as personal details, academic details and application fee payment, applicants will be asked to choose their NEET PG 2024 exam city preference
  • Applicants should keep in mind that they will be allotted NEET PG 2024 exam centres on a first come first serve basis by NBE
  • While filling the application form, on the exam city selection page, candidates have to fill their preference of exam city by select their choice of state and city for the exam centre for NEET PG 2024. A maximum of three preferences can be filled.
  • A list of NEET PG exam centres 2024 along with the total number of seats that are available in the particular test centres of a city will be provided to the applicants. Candidates have to click on ‘Save & Proceed’ after selecting and locking their preferences
  • The details of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned in the NEET PG 2024 admit card

Q:   Can I carry calculator at NEET PG test centre?

A: 

No. Candidates can't carry any electronic item such as mobile phone, calculator, bluetooth, earphone to NEET PG centre. Some of the items which are not allowed at NEET PG centre have been enlisted below:

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
  • All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin
  • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  • Any eatable items and water bottle are also banned.

Q:   Can I get test city of my choice in NEET PG?

A: 

Candidates may or may not get test city of their choice in NEET PG. Though the exam conducting body tries to allot candidate the exam city of their preference but sometimes it is not possible as the allotment is done on first come first serve basis. The choice of city also depends on availability of the test centres in a particular city. It must be noted once allotted the test city can't be changed in any circumastances.

Q:   What is the format for NEET PG exam?

A: 

The format for NEET PG exam is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of 200 multiple choice questions. The exam duration is 3.5 hours, and there is a provision of negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates will get 4 marks for right answer and -1 for wrong response. The exam pattern includes the structure of the exam, number of questions, language options, exam duration, and the marking system. Candidates should be aware of the exam pattern before starting their preparation to make better plans and strategies to score well in the exam.

Q:   Who releases the list of centres for NEET PG?

A: 

National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases the list of centres for NEET PG. Candidates have to choose preference of the exam centre while applying online for the exam. NBE will allot the exact name and address with the admit card. Candidates will have to download the admit card once the exam conducting body activates the link online. NEET PG 2024 exam will be held on June 23 in computer-based mode.

Q:   Will NBE send the NEET PG 2024 admit card via post?

A: 

No, NBE will not send the NEET PG 2024 admit card via post. The admit card will be uploaded online on the official website of NBE, and candidates will have to download it through their registration login credentials. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates and download the admit card as soon as it is available to avoid any inconvenience. After downloading admit card, candidates should check it throughly. There must not be error in any detail. Admit card for NEET PG has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Q:   Where will I find detail about the reporting time for NEET PG?

A: 

NBE provides reporting time with admit card. NEET PG 2024 reporting time is 7 am. Entry will be closed at 8: 30 am. Candidates are advised to check test centre a day before the exam to know travelling time etc. Candidates must note NBE doesn't provide travelling expense and candidates will have to make their own arrangements regarding the same.

Q:   Does NBE allot NEET PG test city on first come first basis?

A: 

Yes. Candidates have to provide prefrences of test cities while filling application form for NEET PG. It is to be noted the city is chosen by candidate himself / herself at the time of online submission of application form, while the allotment of test centre/venue in the chosen city is done by exam authority. NBE will allot the name and address of exact test centre along with the NEET PG admit card.

Q:   Where will a candidate find detail about NEET PG 2024 centre allotted to him/her?

A: 

Candidates will find details of the exam city allotted to them on the admit card. NEET PG admit card will contain details of exact exam city along with other information related to exam. It must be noted the exam centre once allotted can't be changed. Any such request will not be entertained by the exam conducting body.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry along with NEET PG admit card?

A: 

Candidates need to carry a set of documents along with NEET PG admit card at NEET PG exam centre. If a candidate chooses to carry an e-Aadhaar card as an identity proof on the day of the examination, he/ she should ensure that the Aadhaar number and photograph are clearly printed on it. Some of the documents which need to carry to NEET PG exam centre:

  • A print out of NEET PG 2023 admit card with photograph
  • Photocopy of Permanent / Provisional SMC / MCI registration
  • A valid and non-expired photo ID proof such as PAN card, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar Card (with photograph)
