NEET PG 2024 round-3 registration deadline has been extended till January 22, 2025. Earlier the deadline for registration was January 19, 2025. It must be noted NEET PG 2024 round-3 registration was opened following revision of cut off percentile for each category. Choice filling for round-3 counselling began on January 12, 2025. The last date for round-3 choice declaration has been extended till January 23, 2025, 8 am as per the revised schedule. MCC, the counselling body will announce round-3 NEET PG counselling 2024 result on January 25, 2025. Deadline for round-3 reporting is February 3, 2025.
MCC has released seat vacancies for round-3 counselling. As per the seat matrix for round-3 NEET PG 2024 counselling, a total of 15,902 seats are virtually vacant, 8313 clearly vacant and 99 seats are newly added seats.
Earlier the round-3 counselling result was to be announced on January 4, 2025 but it was postponed following reduction of cut off percentile. As per the revised cut off eligibility criteria, candidates who belong to general and EWS must have 15 percentile to participate in remaining seat allotment rounds. For SC/ST, the cut off has been reduced to 10.
MCC will upload round-3 counselling result online based on declared choices and other factors. Candidates will be able to download NEET PG 2024 round-3 seat allotment result PDF from the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates allotted seats in round-3 will have to pay admission fee and complete other admission formalities. They will have to report physically with original documents and allotment letter.
Registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling round-3 started online on December 26, 2024. Round-2 seat allotment final result was declared on December 13, 2024. The counselling result was uploaded online. A total of 31, 490 candidates have been allotted seats in round-2 NEET PG 2024 final counselling result.
The result PDF for NEET PG 2024 round-2 counselling comprises details such as name, roll number, rank, allotted institute and course, quota etc. Candidates will have to download the seat allotment result from the official website of MCC, mcc.nic.in. Those allotted seats will have to report to respective institutes with allotment letter and other documents. MCC will allot a total of 25, 791 seats through different counselling rounds.

NBE, the exam conducting body released NEET PG 2024 merit list for 50% All India quota seats on September 5, 2024. Those who qualify NEET PG 2024, securing the minimum cut off percentile are eligible to participate in the counselling process. NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota seats and 100% deemed/central universities, ESIC, and AFMS seats. A total of four rounds of NEET PG counselling 2024 will be conducted by MCC for the above-mentioned seats. The respective State authorities will conduct counselling for the remaining 50% AIQ seats. Step 1: Registration
Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling for NEET PG 2024 have to register on the official website of MCC. New registrations are accepted before each round. However, candidates who have registered once for NEET PG counselling 2024 do not need to register for the second time.

Choice filling
Candidates now have to choose the desired course and colleges from the list given on MCC. Candidates can choose as many options as they want. The options will be given on the left side of the screen and will move to the right side of the page once chosen. Options can be added or deleted from the list. Candidates are advised to check the choices filled before submitting them as the seat allocation will be done on the basis of the same. Candidates should lock the choice otherwise it will be automatically locked after the due date. Also, they must keep a copy of the choices filled for future use.

Seat allotment Result
MCC releases the result of NEET PG counselling in the form of a seat allotment list. The result PDF comprises details of the candidate, rank secured, the course or the institute allotted to her/him, and remarks. After the registration process for the first round for NEET PG counselling, MCC will start seat allotment processing. Candidates who will be allocated a seat in the counselling of NEET PG 2024 will have to report to the allocated institute. They must carry all their certificates in original along with a self-attested copy. Candidates must pay the required fee to secure their seats during the counselling process. NEET PG 2024 Counselling Rounds
After the seat allotment result for the first round NEET PG counselling, candidates have to choose the options based on their status. They have to choose out of the following options to give their accent to participate in the next round of counselling for NEET PG.
Round 1 Counselling: Options to Choose
Option 1: This is termed as 'free exit'. The seat allotted to a particular candidate during NEET PG counselling 2024 round one gets automatically cancelled if he/she don't report to the allotted institute within the given duration of time.
Option 2: The candidate is satisfied with the seat allotted to him/her in round one of NEET PG 2024 counselling and reports to the allocated colleges within the given timeframe to secure the seat.
Option 3: Those who are not satisfied with the allotted seat in the first round can opt for the up-gradation of seats and participate in the next round of counselling. If a seat is not upgraded in the second round of NEET PG 2024 counselling, the seat allotted in the first round will be retained.
NEET PG 2024 Round-2 Counselling
The process for NEET PG second round counselling 2024 is similar to that of the first round. In this round, new candidates who didn't participate in the first round will have to register and pay the registration fee. Those who have already registered during round one, don't need to register again. But the choice filling is mandatory to every candidate irrespective of the fact whether they declare the choice in the first round of NEET PG 2024 counselling.
