Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducting IBPS RRB 2021 Officers Scale I/PO exam on August 1 and 7. The exam for Office Assistant will be conducted on August 8 and 14. The exam is being conducted in multiple shifts across various cities in the country. The students who appeared in the first shift of IBPS RRB 2021 exam, found the paper to be easy to moderate. Those who had appeared in the second shift, found the paper to be moderate to difficult. The Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude sections were moderate. 

The question paper as per IBPS RRB exam pattern comprised questions from Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. Candidates were required to answer total 80 questions. The maximum marks allotted to the test are 80. The duration of the test was 45 minutes. For the wrong answer, 1/4 of the marks assigned to a particular question are deducted as a penalty.

Shiksha reported live from an IBPS RRB exam centre in Dibrugarh to gather feedback of candidates regarding the section-wise and overall difficulty levels of the exam. Check below the feedback shared by the candidates on the difficulty level of IBPS RRB 2021 prelims exam.

Sourav Kumar Dubey said, "The paper was easy. In Reasoning questions were asked from Puzzles, Family Tree, Syllogism. In Quant, questions were asked from Profilt & Loss, Simplification, Number Series (Wrong Number Series), Data Interpretation, etc."

Mrinal Dey said, "The paper was easy. Questions were asked from Ratio, Profit & Loss, Arithmetic, DI, Series. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Syllogism, Seating Arrangement, Puzzles, etc."

Priyanka Das said, "I found the paper to be tough. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Seating Arrangement. In Quant, most of the questions were asked from Simplification (In decimal points). The Seating Arrangement questions were a little tricky."

Sourav Mallick, who appeared for the second time in IBPS RRB exam said, "The overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. In Quant, there were three DIs, one was pie chart-based. There were also questions on Approximation, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Arithmetic, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles. This year, the paper was tough compared to last year."

Anirban Paul said, "This year, the paper was tough compared to last year. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, etc. The Seating Arrangement questions were row-based and were lengthy. In Quant, there were three DI questions, four-five questions were asked from Syllogism, three questions were asked from Puzzles, one question was asked from Seating Arrangement. IBPS RRB prelims cutoff for Officers Scale I is expected to be around 40 to 45."

Abhishek said, "The paper was of moderate level. Those who have practiced well for two to three months can definitely clear the exam. In Quant, questions were asked from two DI, Arithmetic, Wrong Number Series. In Reasoning, there were four questions on Puzzles, and the rest of the questions were based on miscellaneous topics. The cutoff is expected to be around 48 to 50."

Bandi Balu Teju, who appeared for the exam from Hyderabad, said, "The overall paper was easy to moderate. In Quant, there were three Data Interpretation questions, five Quadratic Equation, three questions were asked from Series, two from Wrong Number Series 15 questions were based on miscellaneous topics, one question was asked from Caselet, one from bar graph, etc. In Reasoning, five questions were asked from Coding-Decoding, 25 questions from Seating Arrangement, five questions from Syllogism, etc.
