Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh is going to conduct the AP TET 2022 exam from August 6 to 21, 2022. The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2022 exam will be held online in the computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held in a total of 22 sessions.

The AP DSC has released the detailed AP TET exam schedule 2022 containing the paper-wise and shift-wise schedule. Candidates will be required to appear for the exam as per the exam date and time mentioned on the AP TET hall ticket 2022.

Q:   What is the difficulty level of APTET exam?

The difficulty level of the APTET exam may vary from subject to subject and from one exam cycle to another. However, in general, the APTET exam is considered to be a moderately difficult exam that tests the candidates' knowledge, comprehension, analytical and reasoning abilities. The exam consists of two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. 

Paper 1 is taken to determine the eligibility of the applicants to teach in Primary Schools (Class 1 to 5). The Paper 1 comprises 5 subjects:

  • Language-II
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Studies

On the other hand, the APTET Paper 2 is taken to determine the eligibility of applicants to teach in Upper Primary Schools (Class 6 to 8). The Paper 2 comprises 4 subjects:

  • Language-I
  • Language-II
