NTA released the CUET PG 2026 result on April 24. The National Testing Agency also released the CUET PG 2026 scorecard on its official website. The NTA will send the information of the qualified candidates to the participating universities. The National Testing Agency released the CUET PG 2026 result on April 24. The candidates were asked to download their CUET PG 2026 Scorecard after logging in with their application number and password. The NTA will soon send the information of the candidates to all the participating universities along with their personal and score details. The CUET PG 2026 exam was conducted from March 6 to 30 online as a Computer-Based Test(CBT). The exam was conducted for 157 courses.
The University of Delhi is one of the most reputed educational institutions in the country. The candidates will be required to apply separately to the University and its courses through the Common Seat Allocation System (CASA). The University released the information brochure related to the CUET PG 2026 admissions in December 2025. DU CUET PG 2026: Registrations and Admissions to Postgraduate Programmes
Candidates can find the admission process to various departments of Delhi University here:
- Regular Students: For admission to postgraduate programmes of the University of Delhi, all candidates (including those applying for supernumerary seats) must register for CUET PG 2026 at the official website of the University of Delhi. For admission and seat allotment, candidates must apply to the Common Seat Allocation System (PG)-2026 of University of Delhi.
- School of Open Learning (SOL): Candidates desirous of taking admission to SOL must register at www.sol.du.ac.in.
- Non- Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB): Female candidates from the National Capital Territory (NCT) desirous of taking admission in PG programmes offered by NCWEB, University of Delhi must register for CUET PG 2026 examination.
- Foreign Nationals: 10 per cent of supernumerary sets in each PG programme are reserved for foreign nationals. Candidates seeking admission under the Foreign Students Category are required to apply on the Foreign Students' registry website, http://fsr.du.ac.in.
NOTE: Seat allotment and admission to all the postgraduate programmes will be done through a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG 2026). Details related to Allocation and admission through CSAS 2026 will be notified separately. Candidates must visit the admission website of UoD at a regular basis.

Delhi University Counselling Process: Important Points to Remember
- For the academic year 2026-27, admission to all PG Programs of UoD will be done on the basis of the CUET PG exam. Admitting students through UoD’s online platform Common Seat Allocation System (PG)-2026 is binding on all Colleges and Departments, as applicable, of the University of Delhi.
- The CSAS(PG)-2026 will serve as a single window for admission to all PG programs of all Departments/ Colleges of the UoD, as applicable. All candidates desirous of taking admission to a Program of UoD should apply only through CSAS(PG)-2026. Only the admissions taken and granted through the official online platform of the UoD (CSAS(PG)-2026) will be considered valid.
- The candidate must apply and fill in preferences, wherever applicable, online in the CSAS(PG)- 2026 portal of UoD (https://pgadmission.uod.ac.in). Application submitted through any other mode will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- The candidate will be required to appear in person to verify the original documents as and when notified by the University/ Department/ Centre/ College.
- If at any stage, documents submitted by the candidate relating to the admission are found to be fake/non-genuine and/or fabricated or in any other manner defective, the said candidate will not be given admission and if already admitted, admission will be cancelled without any prior notice in this regard. If the same is found after completing the Program, his/her degree will be revoked, and appropriate legal action will be taken against him/her.
Common Seat Allotment System (Postgraduate- CSAS(PG) 2026)

Allocation-cum-Admission to all PG Programs of UoD for the Academic Session 2026-27 will be through CSAS(PG)-2026 document and based on the eligibility requirements. An online platform, i.e. https://pgadmission.uod.ac.in will be made available for seeking admission through CSAS(PG)-2026. Candidates seeking admission to UoD must fill the CSAS(PG)-2026 Application Form online through this platform only. There will be no offline filling of the CSAS(PG)-2026 Application Form.

- If a candidate has applied in CSAS(PG)-2026 but doesn't fulfil the eligibility criteria and/or has not appeared in the CUET (PG) 2026 as per the requirement of the particular Program, his/her candidature will not be considered.
- If all the documents are found to be in order and the eligibility criteria are met by the candidate, the Allocated Seat will be provisionally approved by the Department/ Centre/ College. In that case, the candidate will have to take the admission on the approved allocated seat by paying the admission fee within the stipulated time.

After the CUET PG 2026 result declaration, the Participating Universities will separately release their merit list or shorlisted candidate's list who are selected for participating in the counselling process for that college. Candidates will then have to register and pay the requiste or asked registration fee for admission and visit the institution's campus with the list of documents. Some of the universities or institutes may conduct interviews for some specific courses.
Although NTA, National Testing Agency is the CUET PG 2026 examination conducting body but the CUET PG 2026 Counselling process is not conducted by NTA. As per the previous year trend, candidates can expect the counselling process for CUET PG 2026 will be held separately for different participating universities under the CUET PG 2026 Examination. It is expected that this year's counselling process will not be a combined counselling process.
The seats for many of the courses might get vacant because the candidates got upgraded to other courses or might leave the seat, which causes the conduction of one more round, which is called CUET PG Spot Round/ Spot Counselling/ Spot Round.

Delhi University PG Admission 2026: Courses Offered and Eligibility Criteria
Delhi University for the academic session 2026-2027 offers PG admission in MA, MSc, MTech, MPD branches. The programmes are being offered in various streams. Students aspiring to do PG courses must know the list of PG programmes offered by DU and its eligibility criteria here in order to appear in CUET PG 2026 examination.
Minimal Eligibility:
For candidates belonging to UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category, the minimum eligibility is 50 per cent marks aggregate or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination as per the Program-Specific Eligibility. Delhi University PG Admissions 2026: Reservation Policies
Providing Reservation relaxation to the weaker categories of CUET PG aspirants helps them to avail themselves of the reservation, including comparatively lower application fees, cutoff marks, and course/admission fees. Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India. Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be given to them subject to verification of documents. If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has used a false/fake /incorrect document, or has furnished false, incorrect, or incomplete information, in order to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all admission processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.
Reservation of Seats For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates
22.5 per cent of the total number of seats are reserved for Candidates belonging to ScheduledCasteandScheduled Tribes (15 per cent for Scheduled Caste and 7.5 per cent for Scheduled Tribes, interchangeable if necessary). The Candidate must be in possession of the Caste/Tribe certificate in his/her own name at the time of Registration and Admission. The Caste certificate should clearly state:
a) Name of his/her caste/tribe
b) Whether candidate belongs to SC or ST
c) District and the State or Union Territory of Candidate’s usual place of residence, and
d) the appropriate Govt. of India Schedule under which his / her caste / tribe is approvedasSC or ST.
Candidate will have to produce the valid original SC or ST caste or tribe certificate at the time of admission. The following are empowered to issue the requisite SC / ST certificate:
a) District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Collector / Deputy Commissioner/ Addl. Deputy Commissioner / Deputy Collector / 1st class Stipendiary Magistrate/City Magistrate / Sub-Divisional Magistrate / Taluka Magistrate / Executive Magistrate/Extra Assistant Commissioner.
b) Chief Presidency Magistrate / Addl. Chief Presidency Magistrate / Presidency Magistrate.
c) Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
d) Sub- Divisional Officer of the area where the Candidate and/ or his family normallyresides.
e) Administrator / Secretary to the Administrator/ Development Officer (LakshadweepIslands). Candidates to note that the SC / ST Certificate from any other person / authority shall not be accepted in any case. If the Candidate happens to belong to SC or ST, Candidate’s caste or tribe must be listed in the appropriate Govt. of India Schedule.
It is a statutory obligation on the part of departments and colleges to fill all seats reserved for Caste / Scheduled Tribe Candidates. Departments/ colleges, institutes, or centers shall not refuse admission to any SC / ST candidate on the basis of medium of instruction. Any deficiency in the knowledge of any particular language should be addressed; for this purpose, remedial classes may be arranged by the department or college by utilizing grants available from the University Grants Commission.
Reservation of Seats for Other Backward Classes (OBC, Non-Creamy Layer)
27 per cent of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC- Non-Creamy Layer, Central List). At the time of giving admission to an OBC Candidate, the departments, colleges, and centers will
ensure that the caste is included in the Central List of OBC (the OBC status is to be determined on the basis of the Central List of OBCs (Govt. of India) notified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on the recommendations of the National Commission for Backward Classes.
The certificate must mention non-creamy layer status of the Candidate (Non-creamylayerstatus issued by an authority mentioned in DOPT Office Memorandum No. 36012/22/93- Estt. (SCT) dated 15.11.1993). The OBC Candidates who belong to the ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ and whose caste appears in the Central List of the OBCs only shall be eligible to be considered for admission under the OBC category (Validity period of OBC certificate in respect of ‘non-creamy layer’ status of the candidates as per DOPT Office Memorandum No. 36036/2/2013-Estt. (Res- I) dated31March2016). The certificate should be issued after 31st March, 2026.
It is a statutory obligation on the part of Departments/ Centres/ Colleges to fill all the seats reservedfor OBC Candidates.
Reservation Policy For Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
As per the University of Delhi notifications (Reference No. Aca. I / Reservation of EWSs / 2019/63 Dated 28th March 2019 and Reference No. Aca. I / Reservation of EWSs / 2019 / 101 Dated 15thMay 2019), for the reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) Category, the University Departments / Centres / Colleges have reserved 10 per cent seats for admission of candidates belonging to EWS category. The certificate should be issued.
DU CUET PG Exam Syllabus
CUET PG 2026 syllabus for the domain-specific subjects was released by the National Testing Agency along with the information brochure. Candidates are recommended to go through the CUET PG syllabus for the course they are taking thoroughly in order to prepare well for the entrance exam. CUET PG syllabus for the academic session 2026-27 found to be same as of previous year. The counselling process for CUET PG 2026 will be held separately for different participating universities under the CUET PG 2026 Examination. Therefore, the CUET PG 2026 Counselling Rounds are not specific to any number. Depending on the availability of vacant seats at that particular university of any course, the CUET PG counselling rounds will vary.
But as per the previous year trend, candidates can expect at least two rounds of counselling for any course at one of the participating universities.
After the declaration of CUET PG 2026 exam results, CUET PG 2026 Counselling dates are expected to be announced in May, 2026.

CUET PG 2026 Answer Key was released on the official website. The last date to send objections was April 14. Candidates should know that at first, the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer key is released and after considering the objections, the NTA will release the final answer key.
