IISc Bangalore has announced the final KVPY result 2019 on March 20, 2020, on the official website. The result has been released in the form of a category-wise merit list. Candidates with their details in the merit list are eligible for the KVPY Fellowship 2019. Along with the merit list, the institute has also released the final KVPY cutoff 2019. The cutoff mentions the minimum marks needed to qualify KVPY 2019. The marks of all the candidates who appeared for the KVPY Aptitude Test and Interview can be obtained from the official website during the last week of April 2020. They can check their KVPY 2019 Result using application number and date-of-birth in the login window. The result of KVPY 2019 has been announced after the conduct of interviews of those candidates who cleared the KVPY aptitude test. The final KVPY result 2019 has been prepared on the basis of the performance of candidates in both - KVPY aptitude test and interview. 

The KVPY aptitude test 2019 was held on November 3, 2019, and the result of the same was announced on December 10. Those who cleared the aptitude test are participating in the ongoing interviews. IISc Bangalore will release the marks scored by those candidates who appeared for the KVPY aptitude test but could not clear it in the last week of April. The final KVPY result 2019 gives 75 per cent weightage to the aptitude test and 25 per cent to the performance in the interview.

How to check final KVPY result 2019

To check the KVPY result 2019, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website of KVPY or click on KVPY 2019 Result
  • A new page will appear on the screen
  • Enter the Date-of-Birth and Application Number
  • The format for typing in the date-of-birth is DD-MM-YYYY
  • After entering the details, tap on the “Continue”
  • The result will appear on the screen
  • Check and download the result
  • Take a printout of the result for future requirements

Process to calculate Final KVPY Result 2019

Candidates who successfully clear both- the aptitude test and interview are accepted for the KVPY 2019 fellowships. For the calculation of KVPY final result 2019, 75 per cent of total marks in KVPY aptitude test and 25 per cent of marks of KVPY interview are taken into consideration.

The KVPY establishments have the authority to provide the re-evaluation facility for KVPY OMR answer sheets. For rechecking, candidates need to submit a request letter highlighting the application/seat number and stream on or before the due date. Candidates also need to make fee payments via demand draft drawn in favour of related authority. Appeals after the due date will not be entertained.

KVPY Cutoff 2019

IISC Bangalore has released the final KVPY 2019 cutoff along with the result on March 20, 2020. The final cutoff mentions the minimum score a candidate needs in order to qualify for KVPY fellowship. The table below lists the current year and last year’s final KVPY cutoff.

The registration dates are easily available on the websites of these institutes.

Generally, the registration starts from the month of Deember for the upcoming batch for most of the colleges. And the last date is generally around March or April.
