The level of questions in the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) examination is generally designed to assess the candidate's knowledge, understanding, and problem-solving skills in their chosen field of study. The level of questions can vary depending on the subject and sub-discipline within the field.

However, it is estimated that the questions are based on the general syllabi of graduation and post-graduation level courses offered by various Indian universities and institutions. JEST question papers usually are not made available. However, some questions from previous year's examinations are available.

Practise JEST Previous year question paper

Solving previous year question paper for the JEST exam will help applicants in multiple ways. First, it will help to understand the trends of the question and accordingly, you can make your plan of solving the questions.  

Topics from which easy questions are asked need to be attempted first and topics from which difficult questions are asked need to be attempted last as it will take time.  

It is advised that solving JEST previous year question papers will give you an edge in knowing how to prepare for JEST exam.  

Say No to late night studies

One of the common misconceptions of students is to prepare at late night during the last few days. It is advised that applicants should prepare and study mostly during the day hours and take a sound sleep. It will keep them healthy and they can appear in the exam to the best of their potential.  

Since exam happens in the daytime, preparing and studying during those hours will help us to be active and attentive during those hours. We need to train our minds similarly. 

JEST Exam Day Instructions

Applicants along with knowing the tips & tricks to prepare for JEST exam, students need to download the admit card of JEST 2024 at least 2-3 days before the exam. Sometimes times website gets crashed hence downloading and printing admit cards a few days before the exam will help to avoid last-minute hustle. 

It is advised to reach the exam centre half n hour earlier than the mentioned reporting time in the admit card.  

Along with carrying an admit card applicants need to bring a passport-size photograph and a xerox of identity proof i.e. Aadhar card, or PAN card.

Yes, you should be able to take the IIT JAM, JEST, and TIFR exams in 2027 if you graduated in August 2024, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria for each exam
