The exam analysis of Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research Common Entrance Test (MCAER) for Post Graduate courses is available now. The state-level examination was held from March 14 to 16, 2020 in a pen-paper based test mode. The question paper of MCAER PG CET 2020 carried 200 questions based on various subjects. MCAER PG CET 2020 was held across 14 exam centres in the state, however, a significant number of candidates did not appear for the examination due to Coronavirus pandemic. MCAER PG CET 2020 Paper Analysis
The entrance exam was held from 10 am onwards, and candidates who appeared for the examination shared the inputs as under:Â
Difficulty level of the examination - MCAER CET 2020 question paper was of easy to moderate difficulty level.Â
Subjects included in the question paper - The questions paper was based on more than 10 subjects including, Computer Science, Engineering, Political Science, Economics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Extension Education, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Agronomy, Botany and more.Â
Type of questions - There were objective-type of questions from each subject i.e. candidates have to understand, analyse and attempt the questions by darkening the correct option in the OMR sheet.Â
Subject-wise difficulty - All the subjects were of easy to a moderate level only except for Economics questions, which were tricky and time-taking.Â
As shared by Prakash Kumar, a final year student at Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jaipur. He appeared for the MCAER PG CET 2020 for Agri-BSc paper. He added that due to less time he could attempt only 150 questions out of 200 questions.Â
MCAER PG CET 2020 Marking Scheme
As per the examination scheme of MCAER CET 2020, the evaluation will be done as under:Â
- Each question carries 1 marks, and the same shall be awarded to the candidates who have attempted questions correctly.Â
- There will be no negative marking in case of wrong attempts by the candidates.Â
Besides, candidates should note that only the question attempted correctly will be taken into consideration, which means multiple options should not be darkened by the candidates for each question, and all the ovals should be filled in properly.Â

MCAER PG CET 2020 Expected Cut off
Till last year, the maximum marks for MCAER CET was 100, this year the total marks are 200, the expected cut off will be as under:Â

The results of MCAER PG CET 2020 will be declared on March 28, for all the streams. Before announcing the results, MAUEB will release the answer key for MCAER PG CET 2020 for all the question papers on March 24, so that candidates can cross-check their responses and, in case of discrepancies report it to the exam authority..Â
