According to the official website, the UPCATET 2024 exam was conducted on June 11 and 12, 2024. After the conclusion of the exam, the students can check the UPCATET 2024 exam analysis on this page. The exam will be conducted in offline mode/pen paper mode. According to the students who appeared for last year’s UPCATET, the entrance exam difficulty level was moderate. Some students felt that the entrance exam was tough, and said that the exam was challenging. While the difficulty level of the PCM group was tough, that of the PCB and PAG groups was easy to moderate.

Q:   What are the options of the questions paper in UPCATET exam?

A:

Applicants while filling their application form will be given four choice, PCB, PCM, PAG, and PHS. Students will have to choose any of this choice in the form as per their education qualification. They will be given paper of their choice in the UPCATET exam. There will be no change in the examination hall for any paper under any cicrumstances hence applicants must choose carefully while filling the form. 

Candidates will be given admission to the similar course for which they have appeared in the exam. There will be 200 questions in exam out of them 20 questions will be from General Knowledge topic and rest 180 will be from the group for which they have applied.

UPCATET Exam Analysis

According to students who appeared in the UPCATET 2024, they felt some questions were straightforward and some were twisted around, but understandable. The UPCATET exam format for the last year was in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), for all programs i.e. Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and PhD courses. Students were comfortable with the time allotted and many said that they were able to complete the entrance exam on time and felt that the UPCATET exam was not that difficult.

A student who appeared for the PCB paper claimed that the questions were from the syllabus and questions were asked from Class 11 and 12 books. For postgraduate courses, the candidates had to study the course they had applied for in UPCATET. 

Q:   What will be the validity of UPCATET Results?

A:

The validity of the UPCATET result is only considered for those candidates who qualify for the exam. The validity of UPCATET results will be valid for one year. Applicants need to use their score card to appear in the counseling for their respective courses in the same year only. After the completion of one year, students will be able to appear with a different scorecard.

The exam conducting authorities will release the result as well as the score card of applicants in online mode only. Candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the below-mentioned details in their score card:

Applicants who have secured the minimum passing marks will be declared qualified in the UPCATET exam and must participate in further process.

UPCATET 2024 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The UPCATET 2024 exam pattern and marking scheme were different for UG, PG, and PhD courses. The UPCATET exam duration was 3 hours for UG and PG courses except for MBA, while it was 2 hours for MBA & PhD courses. The exam format was in MCQs and the exam medium was English and Hindi. What after UPCATET Results?

 The UPCATET results were released in the form of merit list as per the course. The marks and percentage of the candidates will be mentioned on the UPCATET merit list. Students who make the UPCATET merit list will have to appear for the counselling session to complete the admission formalities by submitting their documents and paying the first semester/year fees. Official dates will be announced for the declaration of results and the counselling session, along with when classes will commence.

 

Q:   When will UPCATET result 2024 be declared?

A:

The results of UPCATET 2024 will be declared around a month after the commencement of the exam. According to the previous year's dates, UPCATET results may be released in June 2024. The exact dates of the exam, result & counseling will be mentioned in the official notification only.

The authorities might release the official notification of UPCATET in March 2024.  Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya will declare the results in online mode only.  Applicants can check their results by entering the login credentials i.e. Registration number and password.

Q:   What to do the after declaration of results of UPCATET?

A:

Applicants who qualify the UPCATET exam for the respective courses for which they have applied further need to appear in counselling. Applicants need to join counselling process possess the following items i.e Mobile phone, email id, date of birth, roll number and scanned copy of documents. 

The process of counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, uploading of document, document verification, dowloading of allotment letter and last admission process of the allotted universities.
