It is a good college in terms of placements.
Placements: They allowed us to do internships in various top companies. Placements were also offered by top industries. They trained us for interviews.
Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel food was high. All kinds of food items were available. A library was available.
Faculty: Staff members were experienced. They taught us in a very understandable way and shared notes so that we could get high marks. They were available 24X7 to clear our doubts.
Other: Sports events were conducted once a year. Scholarships were provided under various terms and conditions.

Okayish for UG, good place for doing PG .
Placements: When it comes to placement, the management makes sure that the students get placed. But you can't expect a higher salary may be around 15k- 30k is the highest you can get after your UG if you have good academics.
Infrastructure: When it comes to facilities there are separate hostels for boys and girls, which are properly maintained. The food is a little bit disappointing here but the security is perfect. The college has its department library, and college library separately, air-conditioned labs for IT, and communication skills like IELTS. If you are really career-oriented and wanted to be placed in a good position, the faculty members are always ready to help you out.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and will help you with your career. Some are not that very knowledgeable with regards to the subject due to their differences in majors. The only drawback is you can only get placed in Freight forwarding companies and not ship chartering.
Other: If you want to pursue a good career in the shipping industry go for Amet but don't stop by doing UG alone. It would be perfect if you complete your PG in AMET University which is really good compared to UG and you will be surely placed with a good pay. I have seen my seniors getting placed in Middle East countries-based companies.

Not satisfied with placements and students, also facilities are boring.
Placements: Top recruiting is Maserk Co. The role is a freight forwarder. The highest package is 3.6 LPA. The lowest package is 1 LPA. The top role is freight forwarder and manager. The student percentage going to the internship is around ninety(90) %.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed- 2.5 out of 5. Labs- 3 0ut of 5. Classroom -3 out 5. Library -4 out of 5. The basic facilities are provided but not of good quality. And also hostel food is not good in quality. And quantity. And the room size provided for is small. That's too High for paying Rs. 8000/- per month.
Faculty: Teaching quality-3 out of 5. Course relevance- 4 out of 5. Pass percentage - 75% approximately. Yes, this programme is related to the shipping and logistics industry globally. About faculty members, some are good at teaching and few are ain't that worth in my point.
Other: I feel they are charging more tuition fees for this BBA shipping around 3.15 LPA for 3 years. And placements are not as good as expected. Also, the quality of students is not high.

It is a good college for the shipping course, but I am dissatisfied with the fee structure.
Placements: Our college claims to provide 90% placements. They offered many placements, but they are not enough for all students pursuing the course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average salary offered is Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month. Logistics companies like Amazon, Flipkart, DHL and many shipping-related companies are the top recruiters. Around 90% of the students got internships from various companies around ports and areas.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library, Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are well-maintained, but they can do more as per the fee we pay. The quality of the hostel is good, well-maintained and well-disciplined. Security watchmen are very strict, and the facilities in the hostel are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and friendly to communicate and understand. The course improves us a lot as they show many things on curriculum activities. Most of the teachers are well-experienced, like 10 to 15 years, and they are very good at teaching. Students are ready for the industry, except for half of the students who lack practical knowledge.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like the shipping industry.

It is a very respectable university.
Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed during the placement time. Most of the students got a salary of Rs. 20,000 to 50,000 per month. However, it depends on the performance and knowledge of the respective students. Top recruiting companies are mostly shipping companies like Maersk and DHL, Evergreen Marine Corp, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and hygienic. It has Wi-Fi, and there is a proper library with 2 floors filled with different kinds of books, which is related to courses. The library provides 24x7 Wi-Fi and e-library if they want to get books online. The hostel is very good. It has good rooms, and the hostel is hygiene with proper 24x7 water supply. We get 3 times of food in the hostel, so we don't have to go anywhere.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and experienced in their field of knowledge, and they provide you with the best knowledgeable insight. They interact with all the students, and because of that, it doesn't make the lectures boring. The course curriculum is relevant, and it changes according to the dynamic environment. Our course is related to shipping and logistics, which is different from regular studies, so they make us stick to the new trends which come up in the shipping industry. Faculty members know how to interact with students so that they continue to grow in their course.
Other: I have chosen this course because the shipping industry is something which can never stop even if any pandemic comes. Almost 90% of the trade between countries like India and USA is done through ships only, which makes it highly necessary. If you choose this field, then it would never grow old, and you can continue to learn and increase knowledge in this sector. Our curriculum is vast, and we have to study much, which sometimes make it a burden for us. If there is a decrease in the number of subjects, then it would be very helpful to us.
